I saw the horn coming closer and closer.Hi I'm Calypso Whitlock, and I am a demigod. I know what you're thinking,"A demigod! But how is that possible?". Well I'll tell you, the Greek Gods are real, and sometimes when they come down to Earth, they fall in love with mortals, and we are the result. And when those half-bloods get around the age of 12, the monsters start to come for them.Snapping back into reality, I saw the horn about to impale me. Within a spilt second, I leapt on to the back of this monsterous creature, and dug my dagger in the base of the neck. Mind you, this was not an easy feat, considering this was one of Heaphustus's bronze bulls.Panting, I crawl over to an enormous tree, and close my eyes.Hearing loud voices, I awaken in a golden room.Walking into another gold room, I find twelve people in the room, sitting on thrones. The woman on the far left notices me and says,"Welcome young demigod.You fought bravely, we thank you for completing this and many other quests for the benefit of the civillization as we know it".I knew that voice,"Lady Artermis?", I question."Yes child, you have done well. We are so proud".Lord Zeus stood,"Young one, as my daughter said, we are very proud, and would like to reward you.So the question is, would you like to join us and be immortal, granted we have not offered this for many, many years, but if you would like, you shall be the exception."
After a moment of shock and thinking my father speaks up,"Child, you do not have to accept this offer, you may have something else if you wish."Looking up at him and Lord Zeus, I say," Thank you Apollo, however I wish to become immortal." Turning towards Lord Zeus, I say,"Lord of the Skies, I accept your offer." Waving his hand, I begin to feel tingly feeling, and when I open my eyes, I see things a lot clearer and sharper, almost if I had ten pairs of spectacles on.
That was a hundred years go.Now I am currently on the in Durango, Colorado.Running deeper into the woods, I see a small fire. Walking closer to it, I come to a young girl and a saytr. Quickly I change into my maiden form and walk up to them.
"Hello, I come in peace, armed but in peace.", I say.
"Back off! I've got a dagger!", She screams back.
"Hold on, I just want to take you to a safe place. Okay, that seems stalkerish. But please, you do not understand, the monsters will come, and this saytr does not seem to be helping.", I tell her, whilst dropping my bow and quiver.
"Oh please, we are just fine on our own", the saytr says.
"No Remus, we have been walking in circles for days!", the girl says.
"I told you Olive, we are not walking in circles! I know where we are going! I just need time to think what direction we are going in!", the saytr who I now know as'Remus', says.
"Okay, can you please take us to this safe place, I am tired of running away.", Olive explains.
"Yes, come on, it is better to travel in the daylight. Less monsters are on the prowl.",I state.
And then we start to walk north, the direction I took when I was a young demigod, in need of help and shelter.
