Bonnie, from her position across the field, yelled, "YOU KNOW IT,"
" Right, shall we get started?" kukui asked as he and rotom refereed The match, " Yes, we shall, " Ash stated whilst getting into a more comfortable.
The girls and Sophicles look a bit nervous while the boys except for Clement, who was worried sick about dedenne and Bonnie, were watching intently.
Paul wasn't really one to care about others' accomplishments or battles, but this young girl reminded him of Ash, an odd thought crossed his mind if the girl put brown contact lenses in, and Ash was a bit older she would be able to pass off as Ash's daughter with Clement or this Gladion kid. The only reason why he was actually here was cause that damn girl (dawn) heard that Ash had a crush, and she wanted him to go investigate if she came herself. Ash would have immediately known what she was here for, so now he's gotta play spy. HE WAS EVEN ACTING LIVELY DOVEY WITH HIM AND NO REACTION FROM ANYONE. Goddammit
"LET THE BATTLE BEGIN"
As soon as those words were said, Bonnie leaped into action, "Dedenne use tail whip," Dedenne leaped from the grown and went to hit Pikachu. "Pikachu, dodge and use quick attack." Pikachu was quick and precise in his landing so that he could easily switch to quick attack.
"Ack, I um," Bonnie hesitated, which in return caused Dedenne to be hit, but he got right back up, he wasn't done showing what he and Bonnie learned and he wouldn't back down just like his idol, Pikachu.
"Sorry!! Dedenne, use Nuzzle. " Bonnie yelled more confidently than before, shocking Ash with her progress, but he had no time to admire right now. "Pikachu, use double team and quick attack confuse Dedenne!!"
As the battle went on getting more into an actual battle than child's play, the class was in shock, Ash is the champion and even though a lot of others can hold their ground against him this was a little girl who wasn't even an official trainer yet she, and her Dedenne, weren't giving up and kept getting back up no matter how hard they were knocked down. She's just like Ash.
Rotom was recording the whole thing, while Clement relaxed as he saw his sister handling her own, This is just what the lumiose city gym needed in its next gym leader. Mairin was cheering Bonnie on, but eventually, all things come to an end
"PIKACHU, USE IRON TAIL THEN THUNDERBOLT" With those last two hits, Dedenne fainted it was way past its limit already and Bonnie saw that, but Dedenne didn't want to quit and Bonnie didn't either, but most of all she didn't want to upset Dedenne. Lucky for her, Ash and Pikachu saw this and decided it was best to wrap things up. She did her best, and now it was time to bring it to a close
"With Dedenne fainted, Ash ketchum and Pikachu are the winners," Kukui yelled. Bonnie went to Dedenne and picked him up. "You did well, rest now, no need for a struggle, we'll get you patched up, no need for a struggle, see you soon!"
With that, Dedenne rested in his owners arms. Mallow came up to her. "Here, this berry will make him feel better." Bonnie gave her a soft smile, "Thank you."
"You did well, BonBon," Ash told her, smiling wide as everyone else came down from stands "Now I hope you all were taking notes we are -" Vefore Ash could finish his sentence, both he and Bonnie's stomach growled. "Um, well, then tomorrow we'll um go over the notes."
Everyone laughed, and some things just never changed like Ash's stomach.
