Eddie sighed as he looked at Buck. He was talking to Bobby because it was a q word day. There were no calls and they just hang out.
Hen say Eddie staring at Buck and walked up to him. "Eddie? You okay?" Eddie looks at Hen and just nods. "I'm alright." Eddie lies. Hen doesn't look convinced but she leaves Eddie alone.
The brunette sighs and goes on his phone. He pulls up google.

God he felt silly. Like he was Nick Nelson or something. He searched it up and started scrolling through articles and links, occasionally looking at Buck.
Eddie lands on a quiz and he starts taking it. He reads the question and sat there dumbfounded for a good minute before clicking his answer. He continues the quiz and when he finally finishes, he sits there in shock

Chimney walks up to him and Eddie immediately put his phone in his pocket, not thinking to turn it off. The 118 looks at Eddie confused. Chimney smirks. "You hiding something, Diaz?" Eddie shakes his head no quickly.
Before Eddie could even react, Chimney steals his phone. The brunette tries to get his phone back but fails.
Chimney's face shifts when he sees the screen. "Eddie...?" But it was too late. Eddie was already out of the fire department.
Chim shows the screen to everyone else. Once Buck sees, he immediately gets up, grabs Eddie's phone, and runs out. He would run across the whole world to find Eddie.

Buck arrives at Eddie's apartment and knocks at the door. He expected the older Diaz boy to answer. He didn't know where else the brunette would be. But surprisingly Christopher answered.
"Hey buddy. Where's your dad?" Buck asks in the tone he always uses with Chris. "He locked himself in his room! He won't let me in!" The blonde boy says. "Hey! Hey! It'll be okay Chris..." Buck comforts.
He goes to Eddie's room and knocks on the door. "Eds?" Buck says softly. "You know we'd support you...hell— Hen is dating Karen and we support them. Why wouldn't we support you? It's okay." There was no answer. Buck sighs.
"Stay away from the door."
Buck backs up and runs into the door, making the door open. Buck sees Eddie's room that is a mess.

Buck worriedly runs up to him. "Hey...hey...Eds...breathe...that's it nice and slow..." Buck helps Eddie breathe. Eddie puts his hand on Buck's heart but the blonde doesn't mind.
After Eddie calms down, Buck hugs him. "Talk to me. Why did you run? It's okay. We'll support you." Buck says. "I like a-a guy..." Buck smiles but on the inside we was hurt. Did Eddie not like him? Did Eddie like someone else?
"H-he's probably straight..." Eddie says. The blonde frowns. "Eds...who is it?"
"I don't want to tell you..." Buck nods in reply, not wanting to push an already overwhelmed Eddie. Buck picks up Eddie and places him in bed. He covers Eddie in his blanket and turns off the light.
After Eddie falls asleep, Buck turns his phone flashlight on and starts cleaning up. Somehow he doesn't wake up his crush. After Buck cleans, he puts Eddie's phone on the charger and cuddles Eddie.

A week later, it was Buck's birthday. He invited the whole 118 and a few others like Maddie and Athena to a bar and everyone showed up.
Buck spotted Eddie staring at him from the corner of the room. While everyone was partying, Buck headed over and sat by Eddie. The blonde hugged the brunette who accepted it.
"T-The guy I like is you Buck..." Eddie admits. Buck just looks at Eddie dumbfounded. "I'm sorry Buck I know I sh—" the blonde cut off the smaller one with a kiss who accepted almost immediately and kissed back.
Once they break apart, Buck hugs Eddie again, knowing he doesn't like eye contact that lasts a while. Buck rubs Eddie's back as the blonde patiently waits for him to process what happened.
When Eddie did, all he said was a very quiet, "Boyfriends?" Buck nods in agreement. "Boyfriends."
