Page 4.4: " Loving you is a Losing Game 💔 "

The battle between the two ladies has already come to a brutal end, and the worst part is that the lady in pink doesn't even know that she's playing a losing game. The man that was supposed to be her destiny is already far away from her sight as the man can't love her, an ending in which will get her heart broken and tears flowing. 💔

October 24, 2268. Neo celebrated Harmony's birthday by giving her some tulips ( tulips are Harmony's favourite) he then took her to the beach to celebrate. Meanwhile, the lady in pink ( Scarlett) secretly followed the two to observe Neo's behaviour around Harmony.

She expected that Neo wouldn't act as sweetly around Harmony because she expected that he didn't have feelings for Harmony, but as she continued to watch them, there were signs that indicated something wrong.

Neo was happier around Harmony, and Neo acted more livelier, which made Scarlett a bit anxious, but she doesn't want to acknowledge that Neo liked Harmony, so she kept observing and she saw two walking along the beach but they weren't holding hands so it made her believe that Neo doesn't have feelings for Harmony but then they bought corndogs and feed each other like they were some sort of couple which made her feel anxious again. In Scarlett's mind, she knows that Neo feels something for Harmony, but her heart doesn't want to accept such bullshit so she's conflicted her insecurities came in.

What am i missing?

Does Neo really have feelings for that woman?

Am i not beautiful enough for him?

Why would he choose her if he already has me?

Why her? Why not me?

I loved you first, so why love her? 💔

Why can't you see the person destined for you?

heart is in pain, and she's still trying to refuse reality even though it's becoming more and more obvious as she watches them. Questions flooded her mind, and her insecurities bound her heart, but even in pain, she still wants to hear from Neo himself if he loves her or not.

Night fell, and Harmony was inside of Neo's dorm because she's watching a new show along with Neo, nothing out of the ordinary, but....... Neo's phone rang. It was Scarlett, so he answered.....

Scarlett: " Are you free tonight? "

Neo would've said no, but Harmony told him to say yes. She knows that it was going to be an emotional night between two old friends

Neo: " Yeah, i am. What are you planning to do this time?

Scarlett: " Meet me at the park, I'm hoping that you'll come." ( ends the call)

Neo asked Harmony why she wanted him to say yes

Neo: " Why did you want me to say yes?"

Harmony: " She had something important to tell you."

Neo: " How do you know?"

Harmony: " It's a woman's intuition. You wouldn't understand, but you should go now before it's too late.

Neo arrived a few minutes later since the park was not far away from the university, and when he arrived, he looked for Scarlett and then.......

He saw a lady standing in the middle of the field wearing a black dress ( Neo's favourite colour is black ) it was Scarlett, and Neo called her name, and she looked at him. She felt happy seeing him once again, but maybe this would be the last time. Meanwhile, Neo felt something was wrong as he stepped closer and closer. He saw her in tears as he approached, and then he said......

Neo: " Are you okay? What happened?"

Scarlett: " ( Smiling at neo while her tears dropped) " You happened........."
