As Seungmin was walking back to his building Han's words were echoing in his head.

-

"I can help you by taking back my place at the bar if you're worried he'll come back to search for you." Han was really worried for his friend, kind of understanding his perspective.
"I couldn't ask you that, you're still injured. And on top of that I have to face the consequences of my own actions."
"Do as you like, but at least don't ignore him again as much as you did until now, I'm sorry for him."

-

'I simply can't do this.' thought Seungmin.
He knew running away from his problems won't solve anything. Although talking to Chan was even harder for him.

He entered the cafe he works at part time to clear his head and wake up even more from his hangover.

"Good morning!" greeted the man at the counter.

"Morning Jeongin. Can I please have an iced americano?" greeted Seungmin back.

Seungmin and Jeongin know eachother because they used to work the same shift at the cafe, changing small conversations on their breaks and sometimes hanging out after the cafe closed. They formed a little bond in time.

"So the usual? I'll get it to you in no time."

"Thank you so much, I really need it right now."

"So? How are you? You seem a little down today." asked Jeongin a little worried.

"Today and yesterday have been hell for me. I mean more today than yesterday." explained Seungmin.

That's when he felt a hand on his shoulder, and from a sudden move he was faced with that pair of kind and eyes, now worry could be seen in them. Chan was right in front of him.

"Seungmin! Why haven't you called me when you woke up? I've been worried for you." asked Chan.

'Shit, this can't be possibly happening right now.' now Seungmin's head was spinning. He wouldn't have imagined to meet Chan here right now.

"I'm sorry?" Seungmin was too shocked to even speak.

"Lord, don't be, I'm glad you're doing alright. But I should be the one saying sorry."

'Why should you? I was the dumb one to do all those things.' thought Seungmin. It didn't add up to him how Chan was the one in the wrong.

"Let's go sit down and talk, please." suggested Chan.

"Sure." Seungmin reluctantly agreed.

"I'm sorry for what happened last night, I take full responsibility for it." began Chan to apologize.

"Why are you the one apologizing here?" asked Seungmin, truly confused.

"I shouldn't have let you to do those things, I knew you weren't in your right mind and however I let you do your way. I am really sorry for that."

Seungmin was just blankly staring at Chan, still not understanding why this man was taking responsibility for something Seungmin initiated.

"I sort of appreciate the way you are trying to apologize for everything I did. It wasn't right for me to just jump at you like that. I'm sorry."

"I'm not offended by it, I was the one to approach you first and flirt with you knowing damn well you weren't interested." Chan felt bad for it, even if he really wanted to make Seungmin his, he couldn't hurt his feelings.

"It's not that I'm not interested.." said Seungmin in a low voice so Chan could hear him just a little.

"What did you say?" said Chan surprised.
