Chapter VII

JENNIE

"Jennie Rubyjane Kim what the hell is this?" The first time I ever heard my dad raise his voice at me as he stared at Lisa and me with brow furrow.

"D-dad I-I can explain" My voice shakes as I tried to form an excuse in my mind but I feel like my heart is beating so fast that its affecting my brain.

Lisa stand there looking at me and my parents confuse as I stutter to find a word to explain Lisa's presence. 

"Yes, explain yourself and why this woman claiming to be your wife? Did you got married?" Dad ask in a stern voice.

I gulp hard as I was about to say something but Lisa cut me through it. I feel faint as I watch Lisa's mouth open, not sure what more revelation she will throw at my parents.

"Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim, I'm sorry to startle you, I'm Jennie's girlfriend" Lisa amended coaxing my parents to calm down. "I went way over my head" she smiles at my parents who still look at her puzzled.

"My daughter doesn't have a girlfriend as I have known, she never mention anything about having one, she never keep a secret from me, she never had to" My mom ask sounding betray as she look at me, asking for confirmation. I bit my bottom lips as I look down.

I look up at Lisa as she pulls me toward her in front of my parents as she holds on my waist. "Mrs. Kim don't worry she didn't lie to you. We just meet week ago in Australia, I meet her through Rosé. It was love at first sight that I wanted to marry her right then and make her my wife" She charmingly smile at my parents as I nervously stood there while she lie smoothly.

My mom and dad look at her in disbelief. They know how skeptical I am with a lot of things and how I don't believe with the idea of love at first sight. My parents know how picky I am and how I don't commit easily on anyone unless I really know that person. Me being love at first sight and committed on someone I meet just a week It's like telling my parents that the moon is made of cheese.

"Right Honey?" I felt Lisa's squeeze my waist making me look up to her. Her eyes held mine telling me to go with the flow of what she said.

"Y-yeah, I'm sorry mom and dad I was planning to, I'm just finding a good time to tell you about Lisa" I pacify as my Mom and Dad still look surprise.

"Well talk about it during dinner, bring your girlfriend inside" Dad said as she usher my mom to go inside leaving me with Lisa once again.

"Are you freaking crazy why did you say that to my parents?! I'm trying to find a good excuse to go out the country and you have just ruin everything" I frustratingly hissed at her.

She just has to appear and bring chaos!

"I didn't know you didn't tell them. They would find out anyways."

"Do you know how crazy it is to explain to my parents that I married you just a few days we meet? They know I don't date any one, how can I explain to them your appearance in my life without telling them the whole truth?!" I whispered yelled at her while glaring. "Your unbelievable you couldn't wait for tomorrow to mess up my life, you really wanna let my parents get involve!"

"What did you tell them?" She disregards my glaring looking at me with no expression.

"I told them I'm being offered to work at a hospital in South Korea with a big salary" I frustratingly comb my hair back. This is a disaster!
