CHAPTER 2: THE CASE OF CRESCENT MANSION

I was right now standing in a luxurious office as I tapped my feet continuously on the wooden floor beneath me.

My hands were crossed over my chest as I looked at my watch.

This man asked me to meet in his office but he himself is 20 minutes late what does he thinks of himself!

I'm a police officer and this man maybe will be the head of the district then why is he acting like he's the commander or somthing.

I looked across the room.

The room was quiet spacious and it had around 10 shelves each coverd with either some awards or some certificates .

The walls were full of photos of him and In some of them he looked so young as if he was 18 that time .

I was getting annoyed as every second passed.

I have to go to the court to get my papers and my police I'd back.
I'm finally going to start my career after all the barriers but seems like this man is setting on as him.

I gritted my teeth as I looked at my watch again showing that 30 minutes have passed now.

Screw this man

The only reason why I came here was because this man was close to mr Kim and he helped me and this man also shooted my so called ex police head when he was choking me in the middle of the court earlier.

I turned my heels as I walked to the door and was about to open it when the door swung open missing my nose by a mere inch.

I gasped as I held my chest beacuse of the heart attack this person gave me.

I glared at the person who did this and I was met with chocolate brown orbs which were looking at me boringly.

"Can't you knock before opening?" I said as I looked at him with a glare

"It's my office why shall I? " He said as he bumped pass my shoulders before heading to the main chair of the room.

He pulled the chair back as he sat on it before looking at me steadily.

"So Miss Lee yn shall we start?" He said

"What the- what is there to start? First of all you made me wait for whole 30 minutes and now you almost broke my nose and instead of saying sorry you're here giving me your attitude!" I said as I gritted my teeth

His eyes darkened as he looked at me with a glare

"First of all I'm not a new officer like you who was involved in a case so was sitting ideally at home but someone who needs to look over almost all the things at the stations and secondly it was you who was coming from inside and I'm not getting dreams that oh Miss Lee is inside so I shall wait like a fool to first let her open the gate" he spatted as he slammed his hand on the table making me flinch.

He then opened the drawer of the desk he was sitting and he fidgeted through it.

He made some angry faces as he closed it with a slam and then slammed his fist on the bell button and it made a loud ring sound.

I flinched at his agressive nature and mentally prepared myself to throw a fist if he harms me.

Soon a boy came running inside with sweat on his face.
As soon as he saw the expression on the man's face he widened his eyes

"S-sir what happened?" He asked

"WHERE THE FUCK IS MY NAMEPLATE AND THE FILE?!" the man yelled making the poor boy shiver
