demon king shoto, slave y/c, mildly traumatized - pretty traumatized y/c
Y/c wasn't a good person at all in their life, doing horrible things to people and causing mischief. When y/c died, y/c went to hell and became a slave. Y/c was beaten, done unspeakable things to, and healed until y/c's mind practically broke. Then y/c was put up for sale at a place near the castle.
Shoto was on a walk that day. Well, day is more like night. It's always dark there. Shoto is walking alone when he notices the slave trader's shop. He walks inside, at first just to enjoy how all the slaves look. He looks around a little and notices y/c in a crumpled heap in a cage. He stands in front of y/c's cage and frowns. He calls the owner of the shop and asks why he is selling damaged slaves. y/c has bruises and cuts on them. The owner gives some bullshit excuse and Shoto simply scoffs. Shoto demands that he takes the slave for one quarter of the price that they were being sold, and the shop owner disagrees. Shoto hits the shop owner quite hard.
Shoto opens the cage and grabs a leash and collar from a stash of them. "Come here and kneel." he says.
