it was around 11am and me and jaden had been awake for a couple hours. we were laying in bed and on our phones. of course, netflix in the background. i was scrolling on Pinterest and i came across a picture of a kitten. a chocolate brown coloured cat to be specific. i saved the picture and sent it to jaden and continued looking for more pictures on that breed of kitten. i found out that the breed was called 'havana brown' and that they need human companionship. i sent a screenshot of this to jaden as well. his phone vibrates and he opens the stuff i sent him. 'baby' 'mm'

'you want one of these cats?' 'yeah i mean for my birthday' 'ah i think jay has a few cute cats' jay was some guy jaden knows and he takes in kittens from their parents if they're in difficult situations. like my cousin sister has a girl cat and she would go and get pregnant and then give birth to 5/6 kittens and she had done this for a year and giving birth to 10 plus like "loads" of kittens. and she'd given them to jay, so people who wanted to adopt the kittens could. 'my love' 'yes jae' 'you make a list of the kitten breeds you want and i'll see which ones he has and i'll get it for you' 'okay bub but you know you don't have to, and there isn't a rush, i can wait 3 months, or longer.' 'yeah i know princess'

okay i started researching and finding some cats.

*time skip to half an hour later*

my list ended looking like

- russian blue
- american wirehair
- burmese
- ocicat

i showed jaden the list and he told me to send him it.

after i pressed send, i put my phone down and got up, i stretched abit and then dropped back down after.

i got out of bed, practically rolling off the bed. jaden chuckled as he looks at me. i roll my eyes playfully and walk to the bathroom. turning on the shower, i take off my clothes and step inside, practically moaning at the warmth.

*time skip to a few hours later*

i was at bryce's house, just chilling with him, noah, josh and anthony. jaden was here for a bit until he said he had to go pick something up so he left. right now me and bruce were sharing a juul, only because i left mine at home. bryce got a notification on his phone, he looked at it and his face.. changed? not in like a bad way though. he put the juul in his pocket and grabbed my arm and took me inside.

'y/n im gonna put a blindfold on you but don't ask why, and no i'm not gonna scare you' 'okay i trust you just don't make me walk anywhere when the blindfolds on me' i say chuckling at the thought. 'no no y/n/n dont worry' he places the blindfold over my eyes, tying it carefully so it doesn't pull on my hair. he lets me sit on the couch and i hear whispering and.. shuffling? i thought it was weird but didn't question it too much.

their whispers got louder got louder and i recognised one of the voices. the voice got closer to me and the person grabbed my hand. 'jae?' 'how'd you know it was me princess' 'i don't even know, but i do know you have something to do with me being blindfolded, what have you done now?' i say smirking at my own words. i hear jaden chuckle. 'oh baby trust me you'll be very happy when you find out what the surprise is' i don't even know why it didn't clock to me what the surprise was, but before i could even think jaden spoke again.

'okay love im going to hand you something but you have to be gentle' 'okay jae?' all the boys started to countdown, '3... 2... 1!' i felt someone take my blindfold off and i looked in my lap to find a blue-grey cat sitting in my lap, softly purring. 'oh my god, oh my god, you're so cute baby' i sad, practically whispering, feeling like talking any louder would "hurt" the kitten.

*time skip to after everyone had met the cat and stuff*

i was always so grateful for jaden but i could not stop thanking him for this surprise. we were back home and now with my new kitten. i had decided to name my kitten angel. oh yeah and she's a girl. we were currently laying in bed, it was around 9:45pm and i was getting tired. 'thank you so much jae' 'it's nothing mamas' 'goodnight baby' he said leaving down and kissing my forehead. 'goodnight bub'
