Prologue - Walpurgis Night

3rd POV

"I welcome you to the Walpurgis Banquet. I shall announce the start of our come-together- Rain?" Guy said while holding a glass of wine

"Yes, Guy-sama" Rain, the blue Primordial standing beside the round table, answered shortly and began to announce the participants.

"Demon- Lord of Darkness, Guy Crimson" Rain began and followed the seats starting from her master's right side

"Pixie- Queen of Spirits, Ramiris"

"He-" Ramiris seemed proud as she crossed her arms, sticking out her nose upon being announced

"Giant- Earthquake, Dagruel"

Dagruel remained silently sitting in his chair

"Fallen- Sleeping Ruler, Dino"

As always, he was sleeping on the Desk.

"Dragonoid- The Destroyer, Milim Nava"

"Kuhaaahahahaaaa! Yep, yep~ that's meee!" Milim shouted excited floating up from her chair for a moment once her name was mentioned

"Tsk-" The person next to her clicked, annoyed with his tongue.

"Vampire- King of Nightmares, Louis Valentine

Rain made an awkward break, almost recognizable before announcing the next person. Seemingly troubled, she began to announce.

"Kijin- The Princess, Rimuru Tempest"

<<Are you sure this is okay for you Master? It stains your beautiful title>> Ciel, a Manas asked her Master Rimuru in her thoughts.

<<I do not care about Guy's plans, neither am I troubled with it. If they come to trouble me? Then I'll simply kill them>> Rimuru answered calmly, almost as if everything was just a hassle to her

<<Why have you accepted to be a Demon Lord back then?>> Ciel asked

<<Haven't I already told you that at that time, it would have helped me regain the scale of power between Monsters and Humans>>

<<Why have you dumped your work on Guy then?>>

Rimuru flinched, her elegant posture broke for a second which wasn't overlooked by Rain, who now felt already dead. Mistaking Rimuru's gesture as one of anger.

<<Master, you're making Rain uncomfortable>> Ciel mentioned as the Manas once more nagged on her Master

<<Enough, now Ciel>> Rimuru said and put down the cup of tea.

"And as last, the one who's not present today, hence the empty chair. Demonoid- Platinum Saber, Leon Cromwell" With that Rain finished the introductions

Just a few hours before...

"Good that the 3 of you have come" Guy said, sitting in one of the ice-created chairs.

"I find it rather chilling here, Velzard. You wouldn't mind, would you?" Rimuru said as she took a seat around the table on the balcony of Guy's Castle.

"Fufu~ My, I am sorry I do forget sometimes that I let my [True Dragon Haki] flow freely around these lands" Velzard, who had taken a place on the armrest of Guy's chair said and then proceeded with hiding her Aura.
