Chapter 17 - Arrival of New Companions

3rd POV

Rimuru has guided Shizue towards her own home just as requested it was built with the help of Shizue and Sophie who brought an otherworldly touch to it. Despite Rimuru saying that there was no need to focus on his house it was the first ever building to be completed within the Goblin Village although it was a little on the sidelines because of its aesthetic. 

The Princess of Monsters sat down on the wooden porch, and Shizue followed her immediately. They both faced the small garden area, which included a small river and freshly planted bamboo. 

Within seconds, footsteps could be heard from behind as Shuna presented them with a Tea. 

"I've prepared Tea, Rimuru-sama," the Kijin princess declared with a bright, smiling face. That's right, Shuna declared herself Rimuru's personal Caretaker or Maid. At the same time, she had found a place next to the dwarves for cloth creation. Well, the workshop for her is currently under construction. 

While she was Rimuru's maid, Shion, who sat inside the house, was surprisingly quiet. She was her personal bodyguard. Not that she needed one, but it did help her. Thanks to her, Rimuru doesn't need to take care of every small matter alone. 

"Shuna-san, you've grown in the past days. How remarkable" Shizue complimented her with a soft smile. 

"Shizue-sama, please do not give me empty compliments," Shuna replied sweetly. The Kijin did not take offense to Shizue's words, knowing it was just courtesy. 

"Oh my, a force of habit, I guess~ But seeing your Magicule Capacity being several times stronger than when I saw you the last time, you indeed became much stronger" Shizue added. 

"It seems that I've finally understood the gift Rimuru-sama has given me to the fullest of extent possible for my current self. I wonder if there will be a day when I climb the wall I am facing right now" Shuna added, meaning her understanding of the Unique Skill [Analyst]

"Oh I am sure you will" Shizue answered 

Noticing her genuine expression Shuna bowed her head once, smiling to excuse herself and thank her at the same time, she then took back the tablet and placed it at the desk over where Shion sat to give her one tea too together with a few snacks. 

With that, Rimuru and Shizue were now able to talk between themselves, and it started with Rimuru uttering something comparable to a nuclear bomb within the present people. 

"I've asked to talk to you, because I wish to make you the Queen of Tempest or, more so, its overall Leader. I wonder how people would see the position I want you to be in." So were Rimuru's words, but the six ears altogether stopped listening after the word Queen fell. 

"Eh- heee?!" Shizue was confused, and her head heated up steadily, and her embarrassment found no end. As she actually could imagine to stand next to Rimuru. In her head there was already a movie of their future as husband and wife.

Shion spitted out the freshly brewed tea that she has been drinking just now all over Shuna's pink-white robe. While said Kijin Princess didn't even notice, her shocked face was focused into the direction of Rimuru and Shizue. 

"We could make you the Leader of Tempest, a Queen, so to say, while I am the leader of the Great Jura Federation, an emperor," Rimuru added, she was confused seeing Shizue's cold and dead-like eyes "Huh?! Everything okay Shizue-san?" she asked 

"He- ah yes sorry I spaced out right there huh?" Shizue tried to get rid of her embarrassing thoughts and the disappointment she felt afterwards "Are humans the reason you want to make me the Ruler of Tempest... by the way since when is this City named Tempest?"
