Wooyoung was sitting in his calculus class. More people were slowly filling in the seats.

The teacher came in about 10 minutes after he did. She said good morning and gave out packets to the class. They would solve the problems on the paper and then go over it towards the end of class.

It was derivatives, something Wooyoung didn't have too much of a problem with. He started his work, enjoying the fact that he actually knew what he was doing. It felt more relieving that way.

Wooyoung was on one of his last questions when someone came in. Everyone looked up to see none other than Choi San. A man that was known for being late. Wooyoung never understood how someone could be late on a daily basis.

"San. I'm surprised you even came. Take a packet and sit." Ms. Lin's tone changed. San took a packet and walked to the back of the classroom. Wooyoung thought that he was about to take the seat next to him but he took the seat across from him.

The class continued finishing off their packets. "Alright guys. Let's at least go over the first page of questions." Everyone turned their pages to the front of the packet. When they were going over the answers, it was one question in particular that had Wooyoung trying to hold his laugh.

They were on question 5 and of course the teacher cold called. The thing is, she called on San. San wasn't even paying attention to the lesson to begin with, doing his own thing as usual. "Can you tell me what number five is?" "Oh um, three?" It came off more as a question than an answer.

"How did you get three?" The teacher walked up to San's desk, confused. She looked at his paper. "San we're not even on this page yet." Wooyoung knew it was childish to laugh at this but Ms. Lin's facial expression and tone made him, especially since she low key looked like Edna Mode from the Incredibles.

Wooyoung knew that people could hear him but he couldn't help it. "Wooyoung. How about you tell us what number five is." She was being snarky. "Zero." "Correct. See San, it's not that hard to pay attention." She walked back to the front.

San clearly didn't enjoy being called out and rolled his eyes. He heard laughter behind him and it only irritated him more. He wanted to look back so bad and ask "What the fuck are you laughing at?" but he didn't want to make a scene.

Thank goodness the bell rung and the class left. San kinda figured who laughed at him because the person left the class with a stupid smile on their face. You think you're so smart huh San thought.

The next day Wooyoung found out that he had chemistry class with San. He found that out in one of the most hard but classic way. Finding a partner for a project.

Of course no one had picked him nor San so they ended up being a duo. It didn't feel like the work would be equally split up though. They had to make a presentation about the periodic table and some elements from it.

San knew that his partner looked familiar. He tried thinking real hard about it until he realized that this was the person laughing at him yesterday. "I remember you." "Huh?" Wooyoung was confused. "You were the one laughing at me yesterday."

"What are you talking about?" Wooyoung knew exactly what he was talking about. "Yesterday in calculus. I got the answer wrong and you laughed." Wooyoung looked away from San and held in a laugh. "You're laughing again." "No I'm not." His lips were pressed into a thin smile.

"You're a really bad liar ya know." "Ok, ok. I was laughing, but it wasn't at you, I was laughing at Ms. Lin." "You're lying again. Honestly I don't understand what the fuck is so funny about that." San was getting annoyed.
