Valerie had never been tempted by anything except a love match. She dreamed about meeting the right one, she dreamed about romance. She fantasized about sexual occurances. Her tastes were not ordinary, they tended to offend people. Valarie always thought it was because she, in particular, was more sexual than her peers. In her younger days she felt odd, as though she did not fit in. Her teachers often picked on her. There was always a slight bias against her. She always thought it was because her parents were divorced, but even amongst the divorced kids she was alienated.
Valerie carried on however. She continued to dream. Her mother said it was because she was a dreamy eccentric girl, but she never understood why she was shunned so slightly by her peers. She struggled to make friends, and the friends she did make would often end up leaving. She liked certain boys, but they would never reciprocate. When she expressed herself freely, it would usually cause alarm of great proportions. She liked to express herself in the attitude of black latex and floggers and horse whips. Why did no one like that stuff. Why would no one speak about it.
When Valerie grew older she tended to hide her sexuallity. She would shy away from the male species and didn't have any male friends. She opted to go to an all girls boarding school rather than have her tastes picked on like she was used to. Valerie kept to herself and tried to focus on her school work, but her dreams often beckoned.
Valerie's home life was incredibly intense. Sexually, she was a stud, and often felt abused by the world. The intensity of her home life attracted many different types of people, she hated the visitors, but would be courteous because her rank in the world demanded this. By birth right Valerie was a princess. Even though rank wasn't discussed where they were from. It was common knowledge though, that Valerie and her family were Royalty. Valerie had an older brother and and an older sister. Her brothers name was Dutchy and her sisters name was Alice. Dutchy and Alice loved their little sister, but they too would react the same way to her oddities. From a young age Valierie's inclinations singled her out as the problem child. Valerie always wondered why she did not fit in.
Spirituality was of great importance to Valerie and her family. They were strong Christians that tended culturally towards catholicism, and on her 13th birthday Valerie's mother gifted her a silver and ruby cross which she always wore around her neck under her clothes. She liked it, because, personally, she hated the devil. Oh how she feared punishment. She never understood why she was hated for being created the way she was. She never understood why people reacted so vehemently to her hatred. Why were her tastes and fetishes always picked out as disturbing. She would never judge people, but in turn they would judge her, and it was to Valerie's amazement that they did not understand that they were being rude and making personal comments. Did they not notice that they were making her feel bad about having thoughts that were different to thier own. Valerie believed in consent, so she wasn't forcing herself on anybody, but when she found the strength to say how she truly felt she would be shunned. She knew she was different, but the public weren't even allowing her to think about what she liked. And why were they always especially hard on her. Luckilly she had her father. He too was an oddball, and felt that her social disturbances were hilarious. She never saw much of him though, because her parents were divorced.
Socially, after some good practice hiding her colorful sexuallity, Valerie started to become popular, and started expressing herself in the forms of girly pillow fights and snuggles. It gave her kicks, but deep inside her there was a craving for more.
On Valerie's 18th birthday, everything made sense. The isolation, the timid refusal to say how she felt and the explanation of her intense whims and feelings. On her 18th birthday Valerie was openly claimed by the Darkness. There were two forces in her world, the Darkness and the Lightness. The Darkness encompassed evil, dark academia, wickedness, magic, latex, lust, sins and seduction. The Lightneas encompassed virtues, goodness, chipper vibrations and growth and acceptance. Funnily though, the Lightness had a difficult time accepting the Darkness. Even spiritually, religion was bias towards the Lightness.
So on Valerie's 18th birthday she became the dark princess of Destitute Manor. Destitute Manor was the name of her home, and was situated in the land of Hightower Town. The Lightness was the power in Hightower Town, and the people battled the Darkness daily. But funnily enough peace existed within the towns limits. And everyday happenings continued. Sex happened and people hid their darkness.
