Lying on the sterile hospital bed, Jungkook remained unconscious, his body connected to an array of medical devices, their soft hum providing an eerie background to the quiet room.

Taehyung, who had just regained consciousness, stood frozen, unable to believe the scene before him. The hospital's harsh lighting cast an unforgiving glare on Jungkook's motionless form, emphasizing the fragility of life.

Tears welled up in Taehyung's hazel eyes, their salty tracks leaving wet imprints one after the other as they streamed down his cheeks. His heart ached with worry, guilt and fear for Jungkook, the sight of jungkook tugging at the deepest corners of his emotions.

Slowly, Taehyung approached Jungkook's bedside, his every step laden with concern and apprehension. He couldn't help but watch over jungkook, silently hoping for any sign of improvement or awareness.

Taehyung's heart was heavy with guilt as he stood by Jungkook's bedside. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was somehow responsible for the accident. Every thought was consumed by self-blame, making it difficult for him to focus on anything else.

Tears streamed down Taehyung's face as he tightly held Jungkook's hand, his emotions overwhelming him. He didn't want to let go, as if the touch could somehow convey his feelings and help Jungkook wake up.

In the quiet hospital room, the only sounds were the beeping of medical devices, the steady hum of machinery, and Taehyung's anxious gasps between tears.

THREE long and anxious days passed, and Jungkook remained unconscious. Taehyung, wracked with guilt and concern, took days off from his own work to be by Jungkook's side.

He rarely left the hospital room, tending to Jungkook's needs, watching over him as if his presence alone could somehow bring Jungkook back to consciousness.

He slept in a chair beside Jungkook's hospital bed, waking up frequently to check the monitor and hold Jungkook's hand.

Taehyung couldn't help but blame himself for what had happened. The guilt weighed heavily on his heart, and he desperately wished for Jungkook to wake up and tell him that everything would be okay.

Taehyung's eyes widened with disbelief as he saw Jungkook's fingers move. Startled, he called out Jungkook's name, and as Jungkook groaned in pain while trying to open his eyes, Taehyung was ready to rush for help, but Jungkook's hand held him back.

Jungkook, his voice unsteady, managed to ask, "A-are you... okay?" The relief and joy that flooded Taehyung's heart were beyond words. Tears welled up in his eyes as he responded, "I'm fine, Jungkook. Don't worry about me. You're the one who's been hurt. Can you open your eyes? Do you need me to call the doctor?"

Jungkook weakly shook his head, releasing Taehyung's hands. Despite his struggle, he managed a faint smile. "I'm just... glad you're okay," he whispered.

When exhaustion washed over him, Jungkook's eyelids gradually drooped shut. Taehyung stayed nearby, attentively watching as Jungkook rested peacefully.

AS the sun set, the night awakened with a sky full of stars and the world cloaked in a peaceful hush.

The room was dimly lit by a small bedside lamp, casting a warm, gentle glow. The soft hum of medical equipment provided a soothing background noise. Jungkook's vision slowly adjusted to the surroundings, and he noticed the various monitors and machines that were keeping track of his vital signs.

He felt a dull ache throughout his body, but it wasn't as intense as before. As he shifted slightly, he winced in pain. His gaze returned to Taehyung, who was peacefully sleeping but looked weary from taking care of him.

Jungkook contemplated his situation. The memories of the accident and Taehyung's worried face flooded back to him. He knew he was lucky to be alive. Despite the pain and discomfort, seeing Taehyung by his side brought him an inexplicable sense of comfort.

With great effort, Jungkook reached out and gently placed his hand on Taehyung's head, running his fingers through his soft hair. It was his way of silently expressing his gratitude and affection for the one who had took care of him this whole time.

Taehyung stirred awake, slowly blinking his eyes open. He gazed up at Jungkook, a hint of surprise and relief in his eyes upon seeing Jungkook awake.

He managed a faint smile. "You're finally awake," Taehyung replied, his voice soft and filled with genuine concern. "I should be asking you if you're alright. You had me really worried."

Jungkook chuckled softly but winced in pain, his hand still resting on Taehyung's head. "I should be fine. Thanks to you."

Taehyung, feeling a mixture of emotions, gently grasped Jungkook's hand that was caressing his head. "You scared me there, you know. But I'm just glad you're awake now."

Jungkook nodded and tried to shift to a more comfortable position. "It wasn't your fault, Taehyung. I'm grateful that you were here."

Taehyung couldn't contain his overwhelming emotions any longer, he swiftly pulled him into a hug. With a choked voice and tear-filled eyes, he spoke his feelings to the man he cared deeply for.

"I'm really glad that you're finally back." Taehyung admitted, his voice quivering with relief. The weight of uncertainty had been lifted, and his heart was full of gratitude.

Jungkook, weakened but conscious, hesitated briefly before his arms slowly enveloped Taehyung in a tender embrace. Their hug spoke volumes, expressing the emotions that words couldn't capture.

As they both became aware of their intimate embrace, they quickly pulled away from each other, their cheeks tinted with a slight blush.

The intensity of the moment left them momentarily lost for words, and the room returned to a more subdued atmosphere, with the rhythmic beeping of medical devices as the only audible sound.

Jungkook's thoughts raced as he asked about Taemin. Taehyung's voice filled the room after a brief silence, "He admitted to his wrongdoings."

Providing the answer he longed to hear.  Jungkook's shoulders relaxed, and he leaned back into the soft pillow behind him, a wave of relief washing over him. It felt like a heavy burden had been lifted, and he could finally focus on his recovery.

In the quiet hospital room, Jungkook couldn't help but notice the rumbling sound coming from Taehyung's stomach. With a soft smile, he asked, "Are you hungry?" Taehyung, feeling a bit embarrassed, hid his face in the blanket. Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at Taehyung's shyness.

He reassured him, saying, "Feel free to go eat something; I'm fine." Taehyung slowly raised his head, seeking confirmation, to which Jungkook nodded with a warm smile. With that, Taehyung decided to venture out to buy some food.

As Jungkook gazed out of the hospital window at the night stars, he couldn't help but reminisce about their middle school days.

Those were simpler times filled with cherished memories. He remembered how Taehyung used to make him laugh uncontrollably during boring classes, often sharing silly jokes that had the whole class in stitches.

Taehyung was always the life of the party during school events, dancing and singing with unbridled enthusiasm. Jungkook also recalled the time when they worked together on a class project and how Taehyung's creative ideas added a unique touch that made their presentation unforgettable.

These shared experiences in middle school had forged a strong bond between them, a bond that still remained, even now. Jungkook couldn't help but smile at the thought of those wonderful times, and he hoped to create more memories with Taehyung in the days to come.
