"It was their mother Esther who was sealed in that coffin" Elena said. "Their mother ugh great" Aurelia said.

"As in the original witch" Stefan said. "What how is she even alive" Damon asked. "Makes me wonder the same thing but with how I haven't killed your annoying girlfriend yet" Aurelia said.

"I thought her hybrid freak show of a son ripped her heart out 1000 years ago" Damon said.

"I don't know I'm guessing she has a couple of connections in the witching community Elijah said that she wants to live in peace with her family including Klaus" Elena said.

"Well, there goes our kill Klaus plan" Aurelia said. "She was supposed to be the weapon to help us kill Klaus" Stefan said.

"Yeah, well not anymore at least not according to Elijah" Elena said. "That coffin was the only thing stopping Klaus from tearing us to shreds" Stefan said.

"Maybe you guys but not me he wouldn't land a hand on me don't forget when we were traveling with him, he said, and I quote I would never turn her and I'm pretty sure that's because of Elijah having a thing for me guess I should be grateful for that" Aurelia said.

"Anyone else feeling a little used right now" Damon asked.

"Look Elijah promised me that his family wouldn't hurt any of us" Elena said and the doorbell rang.

"Now what" Aurelia said. "I believe him" Elena said and went to answer the door with Damon, Stefan, and Aurelia following her.

Elena saw no one at the door but when she looked down, she saw envelopes.

She picked them up and closed the door behind her. "What is it" Damon asked. Elena opened up the envelope which had her name on it seeing what it was. "It's an invitation" Elena said.

"Aurelia here's one for you" Elena said handing her invitation to her. Aureila quickly opened the invitation.

"Please join the Mikaelson family this evening at seven o clock for dancing, cocktails, and celebration" Elena said reading the invitation.

"Who are the Mikaelsons" Stefan asked. "The original family" Elena said.

Aurelia turned her invitation over seeing a note. "Hope to see you there I'll be watching for you - Elijah" the note said.

"They're having a ball the second they wake up well I guess" Aurelia said.

"It's not bad enough they're moving into town now they want a housewarming gift" Damon said and Elena turned the invitation over. "Wait there's a not on the back" Elena said.

"Elena, I think it's time that we finally meet Esther" Elena said reading the note.

"If Esther wants to talk to me maybe I should find out why" Elena said. "Well, that's a dumb idea she already tried to kill you once" Damon said. "And I sadly missed the show" Aurelia said.

"No Elena's right Bonnie was led to open that coffin for a reason I think there's more to this than just some family reunion" Stefan said.

"Can we go back in time to the old Stefan who cared if Elena lived or died" Damon asked.

"What for" Stefan asked Damon. "That's your job now" Stefan said.

"Stefan has a point Damon I should find out what she wants" Elena said. "You can't protect yourself" Damon said.

"Don't ask me to babysit too many vampires and even if I did turn there's an original witch who could kill me in a heartbeat and I rather rip my teeth out than die in the hands of vampires" Aurelia said. "Okay fine then I'll go" Stefan said.
