"It's still hard to believe he's gone" Aurelia told Elijah. "I know I annoy him and act like he's the most insufferable person to be around but" Aurelia said when Elijah interrupted her.
"You care for him" Elijah said and Aurelia looked at him. "Yeah" Aurelia said and sighed.
"He just kind of snuck up on me I guess" Aurelia said and there was a knock on the door. Aurelia got up and answered the door and smiled seeing who it was.
"Dad" Aurelia said and hugged him. Elijah got up from the bed and went to them.
Derek smiled while hugging Aurelia before she pulled away from the hug. "What are you doing here" Aurelia asked.
"I came to check on you I heard that your friend or enemy or whatever was murdered even though I can barely stand the guy considering he took you hostage" Derek said.
"Okay dad moving on" Aurelia said. Derek then noticed Elijah. "Elijah" Derek said. "Derek" Elijah said and shook his hand.
Derek then let go of his hand. "Remember if you hurt my little girl just know bloodsucker or not ill dagger you myself and trust me you would rather have your brother, do it then me that is if Aura here doesn't beat me to it, she is my daughter after all" Derek said.
"Good to know" Elijah said. "You, hungry kiddo brought your favorite" Derek asked Aurelia.

Aurelia, Derek, and Elijah were enjoying their time together talking, laughing and just enjoying the company when suddenly Aurelia's phone rang.
She looked at the caller ID seeing it was Rebekah. "It's Rebekah" Aurelia said. "The sister right" Derek asked.
"Yeah" Aurelia said. "Now her I like" Derek said and Aurelia shook her head before answering the phone. "Rebekah hey" Aurelia said. "Is Elijah with you" Rebekah asked.
"Yes, he is and keep on mind we all have super hearing including my dad" Aurelia said.
"Your hot dad" Rebekah said causing Derek to smirk. "Okay one ew and two how do you know what he looks like" Aurelia asked.
"You snooped didn't you" Aurelia said when Rebekah didn't say anything. "Maybe" Rebekah said. "Okay well anyways you were saying" Aurelia said.
"Right Klaus is alive" Rebekah said getting Aurelia, Elijah, and Derek's attention. "What" Aurelia said.
"Sister how is that possible" Elijah asked. "That doppelgänger's witch friend put him in Tyler Lockwood's body he's back on his original body now just thought you should know" Rebekah said.
"Yeah, uh thanks for telling us I'll be sure to annoy him later" Aurelia said. "Okay talk soon Aura" Rebekah said and hung up.
Aurelia looked over and saw Derek smiling. "Don't even think about it" Aurelia said.
"I didn't say anything" Derek said. "Your face says otherwise" Aurelia said.

"Stay in touch kiddo I mean it okay" Derek said as Elijah left the room to give them some alone time.
"I'll do my best" Aurelia said and hugged Derek. "I know you will, and you tell me if that vampire breaks your heart, I'm not kidding about daggering him I'll even bring Lydia and Malia with me, and you know how protective they are of you" Derek said and pulled away.
"I know" Aurelia said. "I love you Aura, see you soon okay" Derek said. "I love you too" Aurelia said and Derek left.
