I wouldn't exactly call Petra an OC, but I wouldn't call her JUST a genderbent Peter either since I'm making a lot of changes to suit my preference (like her main li being Liz instead of michelle because Liz is my baby) so I'm giving her a full form anyway.

NAME. Petra Benjamina Parker [didn't know Benjamina was a name until I googled it]
NICKNAMES. Pet
ALIAS / HERO NAME. Spider-Woman
AGE. Just turned 18
GENDER. Female
SEXUALITY. Lesbian
FACE CLAIM. Piper Curda
PERSONALITY. Petra Parker used to be an awkward teenaged girl and nothing more. In a way, she was still that girl, but now she was hardened by the world. Petra was always smart. Having above average intelligence made her a prodigy, especially when it came to math and science. She was always enthusiastic about knowledge. Honestly, Petra was pretty easy to please and excite in general. (She loved to talk when given the opportunity, but would often stumble over her words.) She didn't consider herself to be particularly reserved, just... quiet, and a little bit awkward. Essentially, before becoming Spider-Woman, Petra was shy. She kept her head down and minded her own business. She was definitely a nerd, and struggled greatly with romance. (She often joked that before she got those powers, a girl wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole. She was just unlucky when it came to love.) When she first got her powers, she was arrogant and a bit self centered. (Okay, a lot self centered. She was selfish and overly proud, loving to show off.) After her selfishness led her to dismiss a robber because it 'wasn't her problem', Petra decided to live life on the straight and narrow, returning to the awkward and invisible girl she once was. She decided to not draw attention to herself and be a responsible young woman. She became more selfless, always trying to help others. Over time, she also became a brave individual. She is dedicated to being a hero and protecting others. Having a strong moral code and strong sense of responsibility can, at times, be a bit much for others, but Petra does her best to handle it well. (Even if she's overly righteous at the best of times.) She's not all work and no play, though. Petra is known for her quick wit and sarcastic remarks as a hero. She has a great sense of humor, and can be a bit of a class clown. (After school, never during. She still takes that very seriously.) Maning jokes just keeps others from seeing how scared she actually is, and relieves tension. Even in the face of certain death, she smiles. Still, she'll always take the matter at hand seriously. Petra may use her humor as a coverup, but beneath all of the laughter, all of her brilliance, is a damaged person with a wounded soul. Petra is full of insecurities, especially after the Infinity War and all that happened after it. She feels like everyone she loves dies, like death follows her endlessly, which can make it hard for her to open up to others and connect with them beyond the surface level. She's faced so much suffering that it feels like it's the only thing she knows. Admittedly, Petra is depressed, and maybe even a little lonely, but she refuses to acknowledge it. She knows that, if she acknowledges it, it'll make it all the more real. (She also has PTSD after everything that she's seen and been through, which can, at times, cause paranoia. She has a hard time adjusting to reality and dealing with it.) She often tries to take on more responsibility than humanly possible, feeling guilty if someone else dies when she's busy elsewhere. Guilt riddles Petra so much that even if she isn't in trouble or directly at fault, she'll assume guilt over the situation. As team leader, she even takes on the fault of her teammates. Petra still finds it hard to accept and deal with death. She has pretty unrealistic expectations when it comes to it. Above all else, she values life. She's not above threatening a villain's life, especially not now, she just prefers not to. Even after working with a team, Petra considers herself to be a loner and prefers it. She was always a social outcast, but after losing everyone she cared about, she found solace in that. She is managing to gain confidence though, slowly but surely. Still, Petra is strong willed. No matter how many times life kicks her down, she gets back up. Giving up is not in her vocabulary. Not much has changed about Petra, and yet everything has all at once. She's still intelligent, still a sci-fi nerd. She's learning to not be so easily influenced by authority figures. (She still longs to impress then, but she no longer blindly trusts them.) Her impressionable nature is quickly waning, but she's still incredibly sensitive. She takes criticism to heart, and harsh words also greatly affect her. She often questions herself as a result of this. Telling her she's done something wrong will easily make her crumble. Despite her reserved nature, Petra is friendly and genuinely cares about others. She's not exactly eager to make friends, but she isn't above it. She's kind hearted. She's also capable, and courageous. Her bravery knows no bounds. Petra, as Spider-Woman, has saved over 10,000 lives. Her intelligence only adds to her capable nature, as she's able to come up with strategies and good plans. She still annoys her opponents with quick witted humor, and fast talking, but it doesn't always last beyond that. Petra is still desperate to prove herself, and she hates it when people don't take her seriously. After the death of her aunt, Petra has been prone to being reckless. She feels as though meticulously planning and overthinking has failed her, and therefore occasionally just runs directly into the danger. Even though she makes mistakes, Petra still has good intentions and above all else wants to do the right thing. She learns from her mistakes, rather than running from them. Mainly because she craves perfection and wants to overcome and rise above her flaws. There is a caring and loving person within her. She craves closeness, and always cared deeply for her friends and the people she loved. All in all, Spider-Woman is the heart of New York, as dubbed by her people.
POWERS / ABILITIES. wall-crawling/adhesive stick, enhanced strength (proportionate strength of a spider), speed, agility, reflexes, stamina, durability, endurance, enhanced healing factor, night vision, hibernation healing (an enhancement developed by Peter Parker), and healing as well as an early warning system officially dubbed the "Spider-Sense" power + web slinging
WEAKNESSES. Wall Crawling: An extremely slippery and or wet surface can nullify the wall-crawling ability. A crumbling surface or a surface that cannot support someone's weight using the wall-crawling ability can nullify the power. Some enemies are strong enough to rip someone with the wall-crawling ability right off a surface. Some enemies have lubricants that can nullify the wall-crawling ability.
