Chapter 24 : One last time

" Oppa! Who is Yoong unnie to you? " asked Seohyun in sudden.

" Waeyo? " Kris frowned his forehead.

" You guys seem closed ," said Seohyun.

" She is my father's company trainee. She wants to open up her own business, eventually we met and become closed. I've knew her for a long time ," said Kris.

" She is so beautiful. I am a bit insecure when she stand beside me. She looks like an idol ," praised Seohyun.

" Huh? Never say that in front of her or she will be exaggerating ," joked Kris.

" Oppa! You're so mean ," chuckled Seohyun.

Both of them walked happily on the hill. Kris parked his car and walked out to see the skies. Didn't know why, but the scenery on the hill looked so beautiful and the stars shine up so brightly until the hill looked sparkling. Everything was just so great.

" Ahh! My back hurt so much ," groaned Kris.

" What? I will never massage you again ," said Seohyun in reflect.

Kris ignored her and walking down the cliff. Seohyun called for his name, which got no response from him. He lay on the grass while looking at the stars that shine brightly on the skies.

" This feels better ," thought Kris.

" Oppa! What are you doing? " said Seohyun continously as she carefully step down.

She sit beside Kris while looking at the sky.

" Woah~ daebak (great) , the sky looks like a miracle ," said Seohyun while pointing at the stars at the skies.

" Come on, lay down beside me ," said Kris while patting the grass beside him.

" It's okay. I'm more comfortable like this ," said Seohyun.

" Oh! Come on! " persuaded Kris while pulling Seohyun next to him.

" Oppa! Ahh-- " Seohyun fell beside Kris. She looked at him, her heart was pounding so fast, nearly explode. Kris was so close to her, until her arm can touch his.

" Yoong looks like the star that are shining brightly tonight. So attractive ," said Kris in sudden.

" Why are you saying these in suddenly? " asked Seohyun.

" Why? Can't I? " Kris turned his head to Seohyun. Their eyes are locked together. Seohyun's face becomes reddish.

" Ne? Ahh..aaani (no) , " stutter Seohyun.

" Why? Are you jealous? " asked Kris while moving his face even closer to Seohyun.

" What? No..no way! Don't get it to yourself too much ," said Seohyun. Her mouth are frozed. Her words keep have some traffic which cause it stucked from coming out.

" Put your head here ," said Kris while pointing at his chest.

" For what? " asked Seohyun.

" So that you can listen to my heartbeat sound, how much you I need you in my life ," said Kris.

" Wwwhat? " asked Seohyun.

" I'm kidding. Since when you have a problem to talk clearly? Why? Are you feeling nervous? " provoked Kris.

" Oh please. I've never had any feeling to a man like you, bullier! " said Seohyun.

" Then lay on my chest. You won't have any problem as you've no feelings for me. Great then ," said Kris.

Seohyun mind was totally blank. She didn't know how to react. If she refused, it was so obvious about her feeling towards him but if she agreed, it will look likes she was so over him.

" Alright if you said so ," replied Seohyun while gently placing her head and lay on Kris's chest. It felt so warm. She feels safe when she's in his arms, feels like there's nothing to be worry of.

" Look at the sky above. I always dream of laying on the grass while looking at the stars by myself. Finally, I've done it ," said Kris.

" Oppa , you really likes the nature don't you? I mean you loves to see the stars , the rainbow and even the lake. What kind of places that you like to visit the most? " asked Seohyun.

" A place like your neighbourhood ," said Kris.

" Huh? Why? There's nothing special wtlith that place ," said Seohyun.

" Because there is where the first time I met you, a person who changed my life ," said Kris.

Seohyun's eyes were open-wide. Her mind cannot believes her ears. Her heart was about to explode in 1,2,3 seconds more. Is she dreaming or what?

" No, I'm just kidding. Why? Are you touched? " asked Kris.

" No ," replied her short. Now, she realised. Kris will never like an innocent girl like her. She should forget about her feelings. She didn't know why but her heart felr like it was broken into pieces. Her eyes became watery.

" Saranghae ( I love you ) ," whispered Kris when he kissed her head.

Seohyun was nearly death. She was too shocked. Her heart cannot stop from crazily pounding like a machine gun. She looked up into his face. When she was about to say something, Kris suddenly stretched his arms lazily.

" Arghh! I'm so sleepy ," moaned Kris.

Seohyun smiled warmly. She hugged Kris tighter.

" You don't have to be worry. Only a month, then the agreement will be terminated. You can go on with the guy that you likes and I will continue with my life. Eventhough we'll be completely like a stranger then, I'll never erase you out of my mind ," Kris's voice suddenly becomes hoarse.

Seohyun's face changed. There's only a month left for her to stay by his side. A month left for her to see him smiling warmly in front of her eyes. A month left for her to say that she loves him. Only a month. Seohyun hugged Kris tightly as this may be the last time she had the chance to do it. She lean on his chest, it was so warm that can melt her heart down. She can't imagine a day without him. She tried to cover her tears by sleeping.

Kris stared at the skies for a long time. His mind was terribly in mess. Work, love, having fun. He always have a problem with that. Kris plays with Seohyun's hair while looking at her sleeping calmly on his chest. He smiled warmly when looking at her. He kissed her forehead. Seohyun's frowned her forehead. Suddenly, a tear falls down on Seohyun's cheek.

" Bboya? (whaat?) " a voice come out from his mouth.

" Oppa, please don't go ," talked Seohyun in her sleep.

Kris's eyes became watery. He tried to act like he never cared about anything in front of her when he was also actually ripped realising the fact that she was going to leave him.

" Don't worry. I'll never leave you, never ," said Kris while pulling her closer to him. He lean on his head on her. He looked at the sky, hoping that they will be able to see it together, in the future.

" You're my destiny ," said Kris.
