Chapter 3 - Captain Dougwash

launched through to the other side, the force of the light blasted his delicate body into the hard barn wall, slamming his head as he fell to the floor where he lay unconscious in the blonde hay.

The morning sun climbed over the grey ground reaching the barn it streamed through every window, gap and hole until all four corners of the hollow barn were sunlit. A crack in the wall which Dougie lay under let the sun burn directly over his closed eyes which gently woke him from his slumber. When he came too he appeared dazed and confused, he slowly shuffled out the wide barn door stroking his head gently with his hand.

He observed a small seaport town which was located in the distance no more than two miles away at the bottom of the towering hill which Dougie stood on. Something about the town attracted Dougie towards it yet he was unsure of what it was but it was probably the pirate ships that were parked by the pier. He set off down the hill towards the seaport town. Meanwhile Harry, Matt and Danny were preparing to follow Dougie through the light.

Dougie reached the town fairly quickly and it wasn't long before he was walking on the seafront looking at the tremendous pirate ships. He felt an overwhelming urge to board one of the ships, like his whole life had been leading up to this point. Dougie didn't understand why he was here or how he even got here, in fact his whole memory was hazy. The only thing that felt homely and safe to him was the ship. As he walked up the steps and boarded the ship he was unexpectedly greeted by a pirate, "Captain!" Dougie seemed somewhat startled as he jumped with fright.

Dougie: *Gasp* "Hello... er..." He pressed for a name. The pirate seemed baffled that he had forgotten his name. Nevertheless he reminded him anyway. "My name's Joe, captain are you alright?". Dougie felt very confused now, he was unsure of who he was he definitely couldn't recall anyone ever calling him 'Captain' before. Well actually after thinking a bit harder he could remember something.

Dougie: *Thinking* Captain Dudewash? No... Captain Jack-Witch? Uh-uh... Em Captain Jack Sparrow? Definitely not. Ha Captain Dougwash? Yes! *Out loud* "Captain Dougwash!"

Joe: "Captain! You've been drinking too much! You've forgot your own name. Your called Captain Tiger-Bones"

Dougie: "Why?"

Joe: *Shocked* "You don't remember!? Your always telling everyone this story! You fought a tiger with your bare hands you broke every bone in your body in the processes, ever since you've been called Tiger-Bones"

Dougie: *Stunned* "And I survived?"

Joe: "I think so"

Dougie: "From now on you call me Captain Dougwash!... please"

Joe: "Right, Captain Ti... Dougwash. I'll inform the rest of the crew"

Joe walked away to go beneath the deck when he stopped and looked back at Dougie who was standing staring into space probably, most likely thinking about unicorns.

Joe: "What are you wearing?"

Dougie: "Saint Laurent"

Joe was very confused by now, he thought it best he'd stop asking questions and he left the deck of the ship. After Dougie had stopped thinking about unicorns he thought "I can't remember where I came from or who I am, but I remember my clothes designer? "
