Ash's P.O.V

The house was pretty nice.

I liked it a lot.

Aly and my mum had gone shopping for what seemed like hours and I was pretty bored on my own.

I thought I'd go upstairs and pick my bedroom so I did.

I walked right down the corridor and when I came to a room that was opposite another room, I walked in to see what it was like and it was like the room was made for me.

It was great

I knew immediately that was going to be my room.

I trudged back downstairs and saw Aly standing in front of the sofa.

I glanced round her and saw her dad and my mum kissing.

I grimaced.

"Get a room." I mumbled.

Aly turned around and smiled a little.

Mum and nick pulled away from each other and mum rolled her eyes.

"What did you buy?" I asked, curious because they had a lot of bags.

Aly turned around and sat down on the couch then looked up at me.

"Stuff for my room and clothes." she stated.

I frowned.

"looks like you bought the whole mall." I mumbled as i sat down next to her.

"Your a guy. It's bound to look like that to you" she said.

I couldn't help but smile a little as i leaned my head back against the couch and closed my eyes.

"What's up with you?" she asked.

I opened my eyes again and looked at her.

"Just tired. It's been a long day." I lied.

I wasn't tired.

I was frustrated because I liked Aly but I couldnt do anything about it.

I'd only known her, not even a day, but my feelings for her were already strong.

It was also frustrating because I'd never felt like this about any girl.

What was so special about her?

And why did the girl I have real feelings for have to be off limits?

"Ash, why don't you help Aly paint her room?" mum asked.

I knew she was telling me, not asking me.

I signed as i stood up.

"Come on then." I said.

Aly turned to her dad.

"Don't we need to put things down to cover the carpet?" she asked, sounding curious.

Nick shook his head.

"No, there's no furniture in your room yet and your going to put a new carpet down after anyway, so you don't need to cover anything." He stated.

Aly sighed as she stood up.

I walked towards the stairs and Aly followed me.

She followed me up the stairs and to my room and i walked in.

"Hey, my rooms the other side." she said.

I turned and smiled at her.

"I know. This is my room. I need to get changed into something else. You better get changed too unless you want to ruin those clothes." I stated.
