The chapter begins as we see the Astral Express appearing out of nowhere by exiting out of the warp. Once the train has reached its destination, the crew members look out of the window to see a giant planet that seems to be mostly white in colour.

Himeko: After all those millennia... is this what Jarilo-VI has become?

Y/n: It's completely white. Almost as if it is fully covered in snow.

March 7th: Huh? So that snowy planet is our destination this time?

Himeko: Yes... Looks like this trailblazing expedition won't be easy.

Pom-Pom: Spatial readout anomaly! Star rail stability is down to 12%! Schedule alteration: Seven-day stopover time extended indefinitely!

Caelus: Anomaly?

Himeko: The complex locality of this world has been... affected somehow. The star rail has been blocked off by something. Take an ordinary train as an example: It's like the tracks up ahead have suddenly snapped, and the way forward leads straight into a collapsing abyss... The only sensible thing to do would be to brake hard, right?

Vice: Unless you want something bad to happen to the train.

Pom-Pom: If we try to force our way ahead, there could be a hefty price to pay!

March 7th: This again... Don't tell me, it's gotta be...

Welt: The results of the preliminary analysis are here —

The group look at the source of the voice to see Welt walking towards them and joining the group.

Welt: The anomaly stems from a Stellaron, as always.

Y/n: As expected.

Caelus: Stellaron...

Welt: Yes, Caelus — just like the one that's been placed into your body.

Caelus: What exactly is a Stellaron?

Himeko: Stellarons are clouded in mystery — even Herta isn't able to fully understand them... But there's no need to worry — this isn't the first time our route has been obstructed by a Stellaron. Even if we don't know much about them, at least we know how to neutralize their influences.

Welt: The only thing we can say for sure is that their arrival causes massive changes to civilizations and ecosystems. They also generate distortions in space such as Fragmentums. There must be an inextricable connection between the Stellaron we're dealing with here, and Jarilo-VI becoming a frozen planet.

Himeko: Our current theory is that Stellarons are seeds of disaster planted by a certain Aeon throughout the universe. We can't continue to trailblaze without removing the source of the disaster.

Caelus: Why can't the people in the worlds affected save themselves?

Welt: It's empowering, looking out at a world from a window like this... ...but when you set foot on the planet itself, you realize how small and helpless you really are — just like them.

Y/n: And that's why we are here to put our expert to work and deal with the Stellaron.

Himeko: Caelus, I'd like to entrust this trailblazing expedition to March, Dan Heng, Y/n and you. The objective is clear: Find the Stellaron responsible for the disaster and the spatial distortions, and bring it back to the Express. We'll deal with the rest.

Y/n: Same team as before.

March 7th: Awesome! We get to work as a team again, Caelus!

Caelus: Why us?
