Henry walked into William's office and around his desk to sit next to his colleague. "Hey, whatcha doing, Will?" William speaks, never taking his focus off of the small stack of papers in front of him. "Just finishing up paperwork." Henry watches as his friend's hand glides along that paper and the ink from the pen soaks into the paper. After a few seconds, he speaks up.

"Can I... ask you something, Will?" The brunette clicks his pen closed and looks up at Henry. "Sure. What is it, Hen?" He sets the pen off to the side of the papers. Henry doesn't know how to approach this, so he decides on a vague question, hoping for William to say yes.

"Can I do something... stupid?" The other man chuckled. Henry wasn't the type to do bad things or make stupid decisions, so he trusted what he would do. "Sure, why not." Henry hesitantly takes William's face in his hands and lays a gentle kiss on his colleague's lips before quickly pulling back and apologizing.

"Shit, sorry I just... fuck." William sat there, stunned, trying to process what had happened. Once it clicked, he though for a moment. He could kiss him again, but he was married and so was Henry. Although he remembers Henry and his wife talking about how they're marriage was only still holding up because of their kids. The two only saw each other as siblings now that they had fallen out of love. William on the other hand, his wife wasn't the best(au). She constantly drank and was quite selfish. Fuck it.

He grabbed his friend's face and kissed him. Of course, the ginger wasn't expecting the favor to be returned, so he was shocked, but almost instantly melted into the kiss. His lips moving against his best friend's. William pulled away after a while, his breathing ragged and so was Henry's.

The both of them should be disgusted, but they weren't. They were happy, but just because they were happy about it, doesn't mean that they can express it to anyone else. It was the 80s. Almost everyone was homophobic. They're reputation would be trashed.

"We have to keep this between us." William's voice startled Henry. It was lower than usual. "Y-yeah. It'll be better... Can we still do this?" WIlliam thought about it for a little. "Sure."
