This is basically just a chapter explaining what the facility is doing and why this looks like this and this doesn't.

The Facility- The facility is a place where it captures people randomly and brings them in. There's two things they label each by. One is a slave and the other is a "test subject", but before any of them are separated between the two, they are given a number. Well, more accurately, they are given a white shirt with a number on it. See, these people aren't just your regular slave owner, they treat their slaves a lot kinder than most do. They feed their slaves good food, they clothe them, let them sleep, they let them take care of their hygiene, and they don't whip them. They do occasionally hit them and slap them, but they don't use things like whips and they certainly didn't r@pe them either. They really only needed them to cook, clean, ect. So basically, they were being maid/butlers against their will and with no pay. The other people, they were like a "test subject". See, after they would abduct the people, they would do a little surgery kind of thing. They give them a robotic eye so that they know whether or not they belong to them. The slaves eyes always look different though. The slaves have black scleras while the "test subjects" have normal looking eyes. They do this in case of a moment where a slave might escape. Okay, I've been mentioning "test subjects" quite a bit, I guess I should explain that. So really, the owners can monitor everything the "test subjects" do, the reason that they programmed it like that is to see how they did their everyday life. I know, It's kind of an over-the-top thing to do just to know what others do, but they didn't think so. Now, to get talking about the looks of the facility. The reason it looks abandoned is because it was but then they claimed it and didn't bother to change it, right? Well, no, not quite. The reason for this was because they knew that what they were doing was illegal, they couldn't be found out, so they decided to start living in a place where no one dared to go in because of the many myths and legends. It's really as simple as that.
