❤Raissa POV❤
I didn't fall. The floor just needed a hug.
I could literally feel my ex- parents (Is that what you even call them? Ex- parents? You know, kinda like ex- boyfriends but... with parents?) Maybe if I don't turn around, they won't know. Yeah. The cashier can take her sweet time and-
"Here you go," The cashier smiled, holding a bottle of water at me. "Enjoy your day!"
I scowled. Enjoy my day what? Climbing down the mountain?! Trying to go around my parents?! Getting into Aaron's death car?! Digging a hole to China?!- Actually, that sounds like a cool idea. I wish I could just die in a hole right now. Where's a good dying hole when you need one?!
"Raissa, turn around!" My 'dad' commanded.
I scoffed but turned around anyway, glaring. "And what makes you think you still have liability over me? If I remember correctly, along with me, you also lost liability of Rachel and Rose."
My 'mom' gasped. "How could you?! It was not our choice to-"
"To what? Send us into foster care?" I asked, my voice dripping venom.
"Raissa, what's the holdup?" Aaron asked, sauntering over and putting an arm around my shoulder, staring my parents down before plastering the fakest smile I have ever seen on his face. "Hey! I'm Raissa's dad! Now get the f**k away from her cuz clearly, she doesn't want to f**king talk to you bozos!"
"We adopted Raissa? YAY!!!" Aria cheered, pulling me into a side hug.
Where'd she come from?!
"Wait, and I never knew about this?!" Charlotte yelled, her arms crossed as she gave me the 'oh-no-you-didn't' look on her face.
"No, if you get adopted, then you're my sister and then I can't mar- Nevermind," Ben huffed, crossing his arms and glaring at the ground.
"No, we were just-" My 'mom' started to say as Aria cut her off with a gasp.
"YOU WERE GOING TO KIDNAP MY DAUGHTER?!"
"What? No! And if anything I-"
"SHE WAS GOING TO KIDNAP OUR DAUGHTER!" Aria yelled, wide eyed.
Okay, here's the thing about my parents. They loooove publicity. Just not this kind of publicity. You know, the kind where you're accused to stealing a daughter kind of publicity? Yeah, not great for a person's image...
"Good for them, now let's go," Aaron said, dragging all of us behind him.
"BYE WEIRD STRANGERS WHO TRIED TO KIDNAP MY NEW DAUGHTER!" Aria yelled loudly, waving my 'parents' and beaming happily.
My 'parents' gapped, flushing bright red as people around them started to whisper and hold onto their children tightly.
Well, as they always told me: Karma came and bit you in the a**. Deal with it.
"EVERYONE STOP LOOKING!" My 'dad' roared.
Well, apparently my 'dad' isn't good at dealing with this kind of stuff.
...
Heh, eat your words sucker.

"Care to explain who those people were?!" Charlotte demanded. "And when did you get adopted?! How did I not know about this?!"
"I didn't even know about it until today!" I huffed.
