Chapter 2 :Blaze
Dan and Lyla
A huge and majestic hawk flew overhead with an eagle of the same size and caliber. Slowly the eagle circled us. "Hi Dan HI Lyla!" I yelled . They came down and the air shimmered as they flickered into view. Where once was an eagle and a hawk there now stood a pair of siblings. The oldest one Dan stood where the eagle was. Meanwhile his sister Lyla stood where the Hawk was. Lyla was fourteen. Dan was 16. Lyla's blue eyes are deeper than the sea but still subtle. She stood at about 5 feet, a little bit shorter than Rose. She was skinny with torn jeans and a light blue jean vest with a white tee on under. Dan was tall and bulky being the fact that he is a football player. He is 6 foot with a white tee and torn jeans. Lyla's hair is a chocolate brown like her brother's. "Hi" squeaks Lyla.
"Lyla, I know you're shy, this is Henry and Rose." I said gently trying to reassure her
"Ok" She said much more calmly.
"Alright." Said Rose "Let's go to the pyramid!" Rose shouted
"One question though," said Henry, "How do we get to Mexico in three days?!"
" We'll walk today and fly tomorrow." I Say aloud.

"Got it." Shouted Henry, dashing ahead.
"LET'S GO!" cheered Rose and Lyla. I can see them getting along much better now as Rose hopped on her back when she turned into a beautiful giant hawk.
I hopped on fire and we started toward mexico. A few minutes into the trip we noticed an eerie rustling in the forest. A shadow wrapped creature stepped out.
" Their is an army that will be here soon for you." said the demon "Ixkik/blood moon is coming beware." and then it vanished into thin air, shadows shimmered and then he was gone.
"UM" screamed Lyla "WE ALL SAW THAT RIGHT" She screamed again
Hiding behind her brother.
"Wish we didn't Lyla but it will be okay" I said trying to ease her mind.
"Ok" she whispered back in a much calmer tone. " but I thought the death magic hid us from demons." she whispered
"So did I Lyla , so did the must've had something tracking us before the death magic was claimed. Wait a second you guys don't have death magic!" Isaid thinking out loud
" Demons aren't usually so attracted to sobrenaturales." squeaked Lyla, getting more anxious.
"Lyla what's up with you you're not usually this scared of one demon." Dan said to her.
" So remember the villain who drained our powers when we were stuck as actual mindless birds when you turned into the eagle and lost yourself and turned into a bird of prey." said Lyla.
" Yes we became the birds, lived like the birds and forgot our human selves?" asked Dan
"Well we still had supernatural things we were drawn to. Mine was the world tree." She said starting nervously like she didn't want her brother to find out like this. "When we came back to our senses I found myself in a nest with an egg in the world tree." Shared Lyla with the group.
" THE WORLD TREE WHAT WAS THAT YOUR EGG WHAT HOW COULD YOU HIDE THIS FROM ME!" yelled Dan.
"Dan! Listen, I don't know if it is my egg or if it is my nest. I just woke up there." she whispered. "All I know is that Itzamna showed up and said that I need to protect... aah!" Lyla gasped and then fainted. Four hours we waited. "Huh" she gasped as she woke stone cold. " Itzamna visited me. He said to protect MY egg for it is infused with the spirit of the almighty first dragon Nawal and it's all knowledge to help us destroy Ixtab." Said Lyla coughing.
"Slow down said Lyla so that is your egg and it the reincarnation of the dragon nawal" shouted Dan
"Well that is what he told me" said Lyla coming to a lean against the nearest tree.
