Mattheo Riddle - School project

The whole slytherin house was going on a field trip for a project on the muggle world.

You would be sharing a room with your partner for the project. You went to the great hall for them to announce partners and met up with pansy hoping she would be your partner.

You waited for all the other slytherins to join you as you nervously waited to see who your partner is. You saw as Mattheo and his friend group walked in the great hall, all of them standing in pairs hoping that would persuade snape to put them as partners.

You laughed at this knowing snape wouldnt care if they paid him to be together. You watched as more slytherins pilled in with their friends waiting to be disappointed with their pairs for the weekend trip.

You look around to see Mattheo staring daggers at you, you immediately look away trying to hide the obvious blush on your cheeks.

You have liked him since you first saw him on the train. You two were basically enemies as he would always make stupid comments about getting a better grade on a test (which didn't take much as you both did terrible in school) or just being a douche in general.

He wouldnt say anything mean but he would try to get on your nerves and it definitely did but, even with all of the " hatred" you held towards him you still had the fattest crush on him.

Your heart raced as you saw snape approach the front of the roam to say everyone's partners. "Ok everyone i know your all excited to go on our annual muggle world fieldtrip."

Everyone groaned as no one was really excited for the feild trip, but they were excited to party in the muggle world.

"But this is for a project and there will be no dilly dallying. No partys or anything after curfew." You rolled your eyes as he continued with his stupid speech.

You noticed mattheo doing the same and slightly smiled hoping he souldnt see. "And now to announce your partners and who you will be sharing a room with for the weekend.

"First is Draco Malfoy and Blaise Zabini." You see both of the boys sigh in relief and both look to eachother with a cheeky grin.

"Next is Pansy Parkinson and Astoria Greengrass." You immediately look to Pansy and you both frown that your not together but are still somewhat happy because you are both sort of friends with Astoria so it wont be terrible for her.

" next is Theodore Nott and Lorenzo Berkshire" snape says and you look over to pansy and wisper "why are they getting to be with their friends, it isnt fair." She replies "i know right, i totally wish we could have been partners."
She smiles at her and turn your attention to snape who was beginning to speak again

"Tom riddle and ... oh it seems as he doesn't have a partner. Very well then." You look to pansy and wisper "daddys money" (just pretend that voldemort is toms dad) she looks at you and smiles .

After waiting for what seems like forever for your name to be called listening to a bunch of names you didnt care for, snape speaks the name you have been waiting for.

"Y/n and" pansy nudges you with her elbow "y/n and Mattheo riddle" every one looks shocked including you when he says this because you all didnt expect a boy and a girl to share a room.

"Unfortunately we ran out of rooms so these partners will have to do." Snape says and you turn to Mattheo to find him smirking at you.

You just roll your eyes dreading for the weekend... sharing a room with Mattheo.

It was friday afternoon so you still had until dinner to hang out with pansy. You guys talked and hung out for hours, as classes had been cancled for slytherins as all the other classes except huffle puff has already done their trip.
