The Great News

Harry's Pov
I walked downstairs and saw a person sleeping on the couch. Stunning red hair flowed down the pillow. I took a few small steps forward and said, " Gin? Is that you?" She sat up groggily and said, " Harry?" I said " Yes Gin it's me." She got up off the couch and walked towards me. She hugged me and I hugged her back. Even though it was just a hug, fireworks exploded in me. I let go and told her, " Gin you should probably go back to your dorm and get ready. I will meet you with Ron and Hermione at the Great hall. Bye." I hugged her one last time and then walked away as she went to her dorm.

Ginny's Pov
Harry hugged me and then walked away. I felt sad as I watched him leave. I know it's silly but I think I like him. Someone grabbed my shoulders and I screamed. " Jeez! Great to know your brother still scares you." I heard my brother say. I said, " Ron! Good grief! You scared the bloody hell out of me! But why are you here? Harry said you were downstairs." " Aha!" He yelled, " I knew you were talking to Harry! Also SERIOUSLY! Are you actually getting married to Dean?! He was announcing to everybody that you were engaged at breakfast." I cursed Dean in my head. " UGH! I am not! I got into a massive argument with him last night and I'm pretty sure we aren't dating anymore. I caught him cheating on me with Sky, then he accused me of cheating on him, because I hugged Harry who is my best friend!" I practically screamed at Ron. Ron said, " Hold up. That dude cheated on you! I am done with him! I have been trying for so long to just imagine him getting punched in the head and not actually punch him, but I AM DONE! I AM GIVING HIM A PIECE OF MY MIND!" Ron screamed as he stomped off. I almost laughed but then I remembered that I need to talk to Dean and officially break up with him. I ran to my dorm and threw on some clothes, washed my face and bolted towards the Great hall. I turned a corner and slammed right into Dean. He said, " Woah babe. You don't need to ask to feel my body. Feel free!" I glared at him, " ABSOLUTELY NOT! THAT IS DISGUSTING! WE! ARE! DONE!" I said emphasizing each word. I slapped him and bolted off.

Harry's Pov
I saw a flash of red hair and my favorite girl come bolting next to me.I smirked at her and said, " What took you so long?" She said, " Argh! I ran into Dean and broke up with him! I also ran into Ron who said that Dean told everybody we were engaged, Which is NOT true!" I looked at her and said, " Wow. Are you okay?" She said, " Yes Harry I'm fine." We ate our breakfast in silence until Hermione showed up. " Hey guys! How was your morning?" I looked at Ginny as she said, " Probably the best and worst ever. I will tell you later." I finished my food so I kissed Ginny's cheek, told her I went to get some practice, and ran to the quidditch field.
