"Please give her a warm welcome everybody, Y/N!" Fallon announced. The crowd explodes into applause, cheers and whistles as you walk through the curtains and towards the cameras.

You sit down, ready for the interview. Jimmy turns his chair to face you after organizing a few papers on his desk. You both clear your throats and smile, about to greet each other.
"Y/N! Wow! We have a lot to talk about. Your first feature film is set to be released next week and you're the newest cover of VOGUE Magazine! How does it feel already being so successful so early on in your career?" Jimmy inquires.
You tuck a few strands of hair behind your ear, thinking about your answer. "Thank you, Jimmy! Well, to be honest, I couldn't have gotten where I am now without my parents-".
"Right, right!" he interrupts, "Your mother has a very popular background in film and television."
"Yeah, my dad does too. It's unfair to say I got here all by myself. Still, I put in a lot of effort with my recent work and I'm so excited for All in his Mind to be released in theatres soon! A lot of love was put into it and you can really tell." You explain, nodding in satisfaction. The crowd claps in agreement.
"Of course!" Jimmy nods, "I just watched it yesterday at the New York Film Festival and I absolutely loved it! Honestly, I'd say it's one of my favourite performances this year." He voiced. "You may be new to the industry but nobody could've guessed. Really, it's a gift." Jimmy continued. You both nod again smiling.
Interviews have always been stressful for you, but in this moment, everything feels easy.
About an hour later, the interview starts to reach the end.
"There's one more thing I wanted to bring up." Jimmy voiced, "There have been a few rumours about you and someone else recently..."
You adjust yourself in the seat, confused about whether or not you're about to be asked if you're in a relationship. "I'm getting nervous!" You laugh.
"Now you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but a little birdie told me you'd be starring in 'Does He Know?' alongside Jeon Jungkook from BTS! Is it true? Are the rumours true?" He questioned tensely, staring fiercely at your face while awaiting an answer.
You look over to the crowd, then the cameras, then finally connect your gaze back to Jimmy's. "I guess I'm allowed to say it now. Yes!" You nod in satisfaction, the crowd once again bursting into cheers and applause. "I can't say a lot right now, but we are working very hard. I kind of want to say it's my favourite project yet!" A few people in the audience still letting out their whoops and whistles, you grin with pleasure from the support.
The last question for the interview has just been asked, and it's time to leave and get onto a plane for your next movie. Your goodbyes are said to Jimmy, the crew and the viewers and you walk outside the building to find your Uber.
You were used to being far from home for the sake of show business because of your parents, but only recently have you been needing to do it all by yourself. Bodyguards and paparazzi follow you everyday like moths to a flame but their company brings no warmth. Your connections haven't been leading to anything deeper than new job opportunities and fame. You can't remember the last time you weren't on autopilot.
You doze off in the car and wake up right when you reach the airport. Groggily, you hop out of the car and step out.
*Click, click!* *Click!* *Cli-Click!* Flashing lights blind you as you reach the entrance. You guess you hadn't noticed how popular you had actually gotten.
"Y/N! Y/N! Who are you wearing right now? Where are you off to? Any new films coming up?" Jumbled questions emerge from the crowd. All you can do is continue walking and take limited cover under your baseball cap and sunglasses. It was almost ironic, you grew up surrounded by cameras - albeit they were pointed at your parents - but the hostility should have been familiar. It wasn't. All you wanted to do was get on the plane and towards the set's location.
You step hurriedly and finally find your way into the rows of first class.
"What the fuck? Y/N?" A deep voice queries from your right. You can hear a smile in the speech's tone.
"Oh my gosh, Jungkook?" You realize you see your costar sitting right beside your seat. It's always nice to see a familiar face after you're bombarded by a mass of snaps and screams. In a matter of hours, you both will have reached Amsterdam to start filming Does He Know?.
"I'm A9! We're sitting beside each other!" you realize. "Oh my God, you have no idea what kind of day I've had." you sink into your seat, rubbing your hand over your forehead. "I hope you don't mind if I'm just asleep for the next 8 hours."
He laughs, shaking his head. "I get it, you should rest. I'll wake you up once we land. I'm glad I got to see you." He puts on his headphones and begins to watch a movie.
Around 6 hours later, you feel your body being shook awake. "Is the flight over?" you ask, forcing your eyelids open.
"Uh, no..." Jungkook responds, his voice cautious. He glances around at the other passengers who appear to be packing up and leaving with worried faces. "I think we need to get off. It started storming out of nowhere. I heard one of the flight attendants say we made it to London. Looks like this turned into a layover."
You suddenly felt deflated. You hadn't mentally prepared for this at all. You liked Jungkook, but you didn't know him well enough to feel comfortable being in a foreign city with nobody else you knew. Still, there wasn't a choice.
Jungkook notices your furrowed eyebrows. "Hey, it's okay. I'm sure we'll figure out a place to stay until we can get to Amsterdam." A toothy grin escapes his mouth, and his eyes get lost in his smile. You can't help but let out a small laugh at his nonchalance.
"Alright." Your lips curl into a soft smile. It could be nice to have a day to bond with your coworker, and everyone knows how movie-like the streets of London can be. Sighing, you get ready to leave the plane and start searching for somewhere to sleep.
