Ch. 1 Strange encounter

"Are you even listening?"
Lim Nayeon asked with a hint of annoyance, crouching beside her best friend's chair

"Of course I am"
Jeon y/n replied whilst her eyes where still concerned on the computer screen and her fingers typed on the keyboard restlessly

"You know Nayeon, your friend won't leave the computer until it is shutted down by one of us"
Kim Namjoon, their common friend said packing his stuff, looking at Nayeon trying to confess y/n for the weekend dinner with other employees

"Yah, I'm done okay, and about the weekend dinner.....I'll think about it"
She replied packing her stuff in the bag. She hung the over coat on her hand, taking the iced americano in other

"Thanks for the americano, see you guys tomorrow"
She said hurrying outside the office.

Y/n came outside the office building and drove off with her car. While she was driving while listening to melodious songs, her attention got diverted hearing her phone ring

"Aish! Why is he calling"
She said in frustration looking at the caller id

Annyeong noona!

Yah Jeon Jeongguk,
I'm driving

Oh you are driving
Wait! You are driving!?
Why did you picked
up my call paboyah!

then, I'm hanging

Y/n smiled at her brother's behavior and concentrated back on driving. It was raining and it was becoming hard to drive due to the blury thick fog formed due to the rain

Suddenly y/n saw someone standing in center of the street at a distance, she immediately stopped her car seeing that person. He came and knocked on the car's window gesturing y/n to open it

"What is it?"
Y/n asked as she rolled down the window and looked at the boy in front of her.

He seemed really strange to
y/n, he was wearing all black outfit with a black cap and a black mask that covered his entire face. Only his small eyes could be seen, which held fear in them

"Please open the door"
He requested her while his tone was of fear and he was panting too

His outfit, appearance and tone seemed suspicious and y/n didn't wanted to give ride to awaiting trouble. She was going to ignore and drive away but stopped when she heard several girls running towards their direction shouting loudly.

"Looks like they are coming, please help me"
The person said panting more heavily

"Palli, get in"
She said opening the car's door and driving the car in the opposite direction seeing all the girls running fast behind them

"Who are they? And who are you!?"
She asked in frustration taking a turn and driving at a faster speed

"I promise I'll explain everything, just drive with the same speed and help me get rid of them"
Y/n did as he said and kept driving until those people were out of sight

She stopped her car and took a deep breath looking around

"They have stopped following us, now leave"
She said with a serious tone

"Why? Aren't you curious about my story now?"
The boy beside her asked

Y/n didn't spoke and looked at him for a moment. His dark eyes and ear piercing was the only thing she could see. With a heavy sigh she replied,

"Look, you told me to get rid of them and I did, now I have nothing to do with you or your story, hope to never see you again, now leave"
She said in a raised voice now, that made the boy raise his eyebrow

He smirked behind his mask and then took it off along with his black cap.
Y/n didn't knew what he was up to but she was beyond shocked seeing that face behind the mask

Those innocent dark pair of eyes that anyone would get lost in, crimson lips and that cute baby face, nothing has changed, except those long hair that even covered his eyes

Y/n kept staring at him, she was shocked and speechless. Suddenly she leaned back when he came dangerously close to her face and kept his hand on the car's window for support

"Still don't remember me?"
He asked getting closer to her face with a smirk, y/n's heartbeats were raising and she could feel it but she didn't show it on her face and instead pushed him to the seat

"Of course I remember, Park Jimin"
She said remembering the incident when she first met him

Flashback

Years ago when Jimin and Y/n were just highschool freshers, both of them were amazing dancers and went to the same after school dance academy
Jimin always admired Y/n as she was always a tough cookie. She always practiced hard to beat him in dance

He had heard from his friend that the famous street dancers of Busan called ‘The masked dancers’ are having another performance. He told his friends that he wouldn't come, but ended up going alone. There he noticed that a member named Nebula was dancing just like Y/n. He followed her to see if it was really her and found that a boy was already there, standing with a rose

"You were really amazing today, I mean.....you are always amazing while dan-"
Before he could complete his sentence, the girl in front of him started sneezing continuously

"Yah get that rose away"
Jimin said throwing the rose on the road and then went to the girl

"Are you okay?"
He asked with a concerned face while the girl looked at him with widen eyes

"Park Jimin, what are you doing here?"
She asked taking few steps back

“I knew it was you”
He replied with a smirk

Flashback ends

“That was the last time I met you, until today. I heard that you were selected by an entertainment company and after that I only saw you on stage”
Y/n smiled at the memory

“I know, but I heard that you left it after me too”
He said raising an eyebrow and her smile faded

“I know, I had my own reasons. Anyways, who were those people”
She asked changing the subject and Jimin's face immediately changed colors

“Oh yes! I almost forgot. I am on hiatus officially due to the chart manipulation scandal and I can't stay in the dorm. I decided to go to my apartment but people are just waiting when I will come outside and tell the truth but I can't do that due to company's rules”
He replied with a heavy sigh and an upset face

“So you are saying that you have nowhere to go now?”
