They left the hospital pretty late and Crystal had change her mind about going back to her house and left with Devale. Today was one long as day that felt like it was never ending. Crystal was now sitting on the couch waiting for Devale to get off the phone because he was ordering takeout. The hospital took a little longer because Crystal needed fluid and she was a little dehydrated, so a quick visit turned into three hours and then they were finally able to go home.
"Umh it'll be about 20 minutes." Devale said and he was been a little distant but Crystal complete understood why
"Could we talk.?" Crystal ask before Devale had the chance to turn around
"Sure wasp.?" Devale said as he sat down beside her
"Really.?" Crystal ask
"What.? Anything I say seems to go in one ear and out the other." Devale said
"Okay I deserve that." Crystal said
"Look I know I haven't been myself and I know my pass is a lot-
"You think.? But have I left nope, but as soon as my shit pop up you the first one at the door." Devale said
"Okay I deserve that as well, but okay 90 percent I left because of what was said and what happen between me and my family and then when Ebony came, it became to much-
"And your family, your past, your ex, you not listen and let me be a man, thats a lot but you didn't see me leave." Devale said
"Devale you the only guy in a while that I literally gave myself to, like all of this is new to me. I never had a guy treat me the way you do, so yes I get scared and I distance myself but i'm trying the whole attack just push me back. And I could've sworn that you would've broken up with me by now, and now the pregnancy-
"Pss shh... I wouldn't leave you because of that." Devale said as he pull Crystal into his arms
"I know, and im sorry for walking out. I should've kick everyone out earlier." Crystal said
"Dont you ever do that again, we are a team and there's no I in team. You are not alone.." Devale said
"I won't I promise." Crystal said
"You almost gave me a heart attack when I got that text and I couldn't reach you either." Devale said
"I wasn't think I swear I wasn't. I was in my head thinking about you and us and how fuck up im really am-
"You are not fuck up, you can't control other people actions. You are an amazing woman Crystal. You just have to learn to talk and communicate things with me im not a mind reader.!" Devale said
" I know and since we are talking, I don't wanna stay here anymore." Crystal said into Devale neck
"Why, you don't like the house anymore. Or are you really to get home like you mention at the hospital.?" Devale ask
"Neither, I actually don't feel safe knowing that Maddie and Blake knows where I stay mostly Maddie." Crystal said
"What you think she'll hurt you.?" Devale ask
"I didn't think Tory would come back but he did, plus the look in her eyes when we were arguing just didn't sit right in my spirit." Crystal said
"Okay we are getting somewhere, where do you want to move to.?" Devale ask
"Far away somewhere not in Atlanta... can I be honest right now.?" Crystal ask
"Yeah of course." Devale said
"There wasn't a funeral for Tory yet-
"Impossible." Devale said
"Im serious..... The last thing I heard was that Maddie was trying to get the case reopening and I seen Maddie lose someone close to her before, she wouldn't be out the house." Crystal said
