🔹13 - Babe🔹

Taehyung pov

As I strolled into the office habitually late, a hush fell over the bustling corridor. The air crackled with anticipation as the employees, like graceful performers, bowed their heads in reverence. The symphony of keyboard clicks and the gentle hum of conversation provided a soothing backdrop, casting a spell of tranquility over the entire workspace. Everything was usual, Still, it felt like something around me was giving my mind and soul a peace I never got at the workplace.

Once I crossed the workplace and got in my cabin. I took a breath in silence. That's the only thing I like about this soundproof cabinet, no outside activity causes disturbance inside.

I was enjoying my own company when the door knocked. I wonder who was here to see me so early.

I announced a come-in and took off my coat hanging it on the nearby stand.

I turned around and saw Sia standing near the door. I was so surprised to see her here and she seemed to have the same feeling.

Wait is it a dream again? I pinched myself secretly realizing it was reality. I heard her mumble "It's you again" I wasn't sure what she meant so I asked her to repeat "What did you just say?

"Um. Nice... Nice to meet you again" I nodded and smiled

"Of course nice to meet you again. What are you doing here ?"

"I joined here yesterday. What about you?" For the first time, I regret not checking the files of the newly joined employees.

"I?" I pointed toward myself and Sia nodded

"Umm. I heard you work here so I bought the office." I said with a fancy shrug

"Huh??" She looked at me with a shocked expression

"Just kidding, But for real this office is mine," I said pointing towards the surroundings.

She looked around "That's great. So it's  actually you. Nice to meet you Mr. Kim Taehyung aka my boss" she chuckled looking at me.

"Nice to meet you too Sia. So which department?" I asked just to keep the conversation going

"Management." She said with a smile.

"Oh, that's great."I replied

Soon we found ourselves engrossed in conversation, comfortably seated on the couch in my office. We avoided sharing personal information, focusing instead on work-related topics.

Although I wanted to know more about her so I could  find her connection with my dreams lately, but I don't think she would be willing to share about her life with someone she just met twice. Not to deny, Even tho it was our second met still it felt like we knew each other for years. As we chatted away, time seemed to flutter by like a delicate butterfly

We both didn't realize that until Sia's phone buzzed. Showing "Babe ❤️" on the screen

I looked at the screen then asked, "Would you mind if I ask something personal?"

"Depends on what you are gonna ask"She shrugged and turned off the phone screen.

"Ahh- was that your boyfriend ?" I asked pointing at her phone

"Aniyo" She chuckled covering her face.

"Okay" I nodded and chuckled as well.

"Anyway it was my bestfriend, I guess she would be searching for me. I should get going. Bye bye..." She said as she stood up from the couch and walked to the door

"Hmm I see. So see you later, I guess?"

"Ofcourse, we work at the same place. See you later." She said unveiling her captivating smile and made a graceful exit from the room.

Once she departed, I dove into my tasks, feeling a newfound sense of joy in the workplace.

Sia's Pov

After I left the cabin, I gave Ashi a call back.

Ashi: Hey, where are you?

Sia: Why?

Ashi: We searched everywhere for you. Come to the canteen, we're waiting.

Sia: Alright, I'll be there.

I ended the call and headed to the canteen. As I entered I saw Jungkook, Jimin and Ashi sitting on one of the table in corner.

As I walked closer I heard Jimin "so what about your Korean classes? I don't think you will get time to go there as you joined the office"

" I left those classes I couldn't get what they taught" She informed

"Ohh sad, Anyway I know you don't have a brain like me to grasp everything" Jimin said with a smirk and a intention to tease was clearly visible on his face.

"Ofcourse I don't have a dumb ass brain like you.. That I was spent my money somewhere which is not even useful to me" Ashi said clearly hitting Jimin's esteem.

"I guess you should shut up he is your boss here" I hit her head sitting beside Jungkook.

"Don't you think you should have said this a bit earlier" Jimin said staring at me "And where were you?" He continued

"I was in the cabin with boss." I said with a chuckle

"Very first day in Taehyung's cabin? That human barely likes interaction. What on earth you did that you had to go to his cabin" Everyone stared at me like I did some crime.

"Aree actually I got confused with the rooms and ended up there.. and then got lost" Jimin and Ashi  nodded but Jungkook looked straight into my eyes making me look away.

Soon we continued to have short talk while having the lunch. After having  lunch Jimin and Ashi left early as they had some work to handle, once Jungkook and I were left alone Jungkook asked "You remember the girl I told you about ? and you kept saying you want her picture"

I nodded, ofcourse how can I forget that girl, Mr. Jeon Jungkook's crush... in jungkook's description she always turned out to be someone so perfect without even a single flaw.

"She is sitting behind you.  Don't turn and make things  weird for any of us. Be careful about my respect and position at the office"Jungkook said
