My name is Opal. I am a mermaid. I have the best voice in the sea. My tale is navy blue and I have silver hair and blue eyes.

I rested in my living room with my pet seal named Mags. My father came in.

"Opal. I have some news for you." Father informed.

"Yes, father?" I replied.

"The king had sent a message.... He wants his son to marry you!"

"WHAT! Father! You promised I could marry whom ever I wished!"

"I know honey. But, this can give a good life! You can have as much gold as you wish!"Father insisted.
