I fucked up. I knew I did. I said those hurtful things to Mehul. But one thing was true, I don't love Mehul. It's just attraction. The only person I loved was Sara, who betrayed me.

I was inside my office. Daksh Malhotra & Reyansh Bedi my best friends were inside my office. We were discussing about our new project but I wasn't able to focus. Whenever I tried to focus all I could see was Mehul's crying face and I hated it. I hated it because it made me feel guilty. My attraction to him was not something he should have taken for love.

"Naman?" I was pulled off from my thoughts. "Hmm" I hummed. "You are not listening" Reyansh said. I frowned. "I am" I said. "No you are not" Daksh said. I glared. "Okay leave it. We will discuss this tomorrow" Daksh said. "You two need to come over at my house for dinner with your families today" Reyansh said. Reyansh wasn't a social butterfly, then why was he inviting us for dinner? I raised an eyebrow. "Naina asked me to invite you guys" Reyansh cleared. "Okay I will come with Danish and Geeta" Daksh said. Reyansh nodded. I was about to decline but- "Naina said that she wants to meet Mehul. So better bring him or else I will kill you" he declared. I didn't utter a word because Reyansh is a whipped for Naina. I nodded. "Be there at my house by 8 pm" he said.

I was home early. It was 6 pm. I went inside and saw Ru watching TV. "Ru" I called. "Daddy. You are home early" he said. "Yes" I said as I kneeled down and kissed his cheek. "Where is your mom?" I asked him. "Room" he replied and started watching the TV.

I went upstairs and knocked on Mehul's bedroom door. He opened it. He was wearing an oversized t-shirt and shorts, which were way to short. I was shamelessly staring at them. "What" he asked. "Be ready by 7:30 pm" I said. "Huh?" he asked. "My friend invited us for dinner" I said and he nodded his head.

"Ru wear the sweater, its cold outside" I heard Mehul saying as I came downstairs. "Mommy I don't look good in it" he said and pouted. "Gosh you are so cute. But I won't fall for your cuteness" Mehul said as he made Ru wear that sweater. I cleared my throat. "Let's go" I said.

I opened my car. "Little muffin do you want to sit at the front?" Mehul asked Ru. "No" he said. "Okay" Mehul said. I was getting irritated by sitting inside the car as if I was their driver. "Get in" I said harshly. They both sat at the backseat. I scoffed. I am not their chaffer.

We reached Reyansh's mansion. We were inside their living room. Reyansh came. "You came" he said. "Had to" I deadpanned. He stood in front of Mehul. "You must be Mehul" he said. Mehul nodded his head. "Yes, Mehul. Mehul Joshi" he said. Damn it you are a Singhania now. I scoffed. Reyansh held out his hand "Myself Reyansh. Reyansh Bedi. Naman's friend" he said. "Uncle where is Krish?" Ru asked. "Ruhan" Krish yelled. Ru ran towards him and they both started talking.

"Hey, Naman how are you?" Naina asked. "I am fine" I replied. She looked towards Mehul and screamed. "You are so cute" she said. I clenched my jaw. From her side I saw Reyansh glaring at Mehul. Stop glaring at him. "Th...Thank you" Mehul thanked Naina. Naina linked her arms around Mehul's arm. "I am Naina. Reyansh's wife" she said. "Myself Mehul" he said. "Reyansh your best friend Daksh is here" I heard Daksh while he was coming towards us. Danish looked tried as always. He didn't inherit anything thing from his dad. Daksh was hyperactive while Danish was calm and composed. "Where is Krish and Ru" Danish asked in bored tone. "Upstairs. Inside Krish's room" Naina said. "God you are so adorable" said Geeta linking her arms around Mehul's other hand. God what's their problem. Leave him alone. "Let's go in the kitchen" Naina said to Mehul and Geeta. They went inside. "Stop glaring Naman and Reyansh. "Tum dono ki akke bhar aa jayegi (Your eyes will come out)" Daksh said and started laughing.

"Shut up" I and Reyansh said unison. "Both of you are jealous" he said. "I am not" I said. "I have never seen Naina call someone cute except me and Krish" Reyansh said and pouted. He fucking pouted. God what is happening here? I just want to go home.
