"Selena I don't want you hanging out with him!" Taylor scolds as she follows me to my car.
"Oh so now you tell me what to do!"
I say as I unlock my car door.
"Selena listen to me. He's not who you think he is."
She says as she grabs on to my shoulders.
"He got expelled from his old school." "I know about that already." I sigh. "But do you know why?"
Suddenly I give her a look of confusion. "He got expelled because he had an affair with his english teacher."
As soon as I heard those words come out of Taylor's mouth it felt like my heart just dropped and everything in my head just went blank.
"I need to get going." I say as I start driving off.
"Selena wait!" Taylor says as Luke walks up to her.
"What just happened?" She just gives Luke a look of disgust and walks away but Luke continues to follow her. "Look, I know you don't like me but come on I care about Selena."
Taylor turns around, now facing luke, "You don't care about her! You just wanna use her like you did with all the other girls!"
"That is so not true."
"Don't even lie to me right now! Stay away from Selena or else!
Suddenly an angry look appears on Luke's face "Or else what?"
"Is everything okay here babe?" Taylor's boyfriend says as he puts his arm around her shoulder.
"Yeah everything's fine. Let's just get going."
Taylor says as she walks away from Luke.
selena's pov
i finally arrive home and all i can think about is luke and the whole affair thing. how could he actually do that? how is this possible? i try to get my mind off luke so i just turn on the tv but as soon as i sit down i hear my phone buzz. it's from luke.
"hey we still on for tonight?"
i'm trying to decide on whether i should text him back or not but i'm too upset right now so i just let it go and continue watching tv.
luke's pov
"it's been two hours why hasn't she texted me back?" i murmur. damn i really hope she meets me tonight. she looks so fine in that black crop top and those hot skinny jeans.
"luke stop you can't do this." i say to myself. suddenly i hear a knock on my bedroom door.
"luke is everything okay in there?" mom says.
"i'm fine!"
"well can i come in? i wanna talk. i heard you had detention today."
i slowly open my door.
"actually i have somewhere to go."
i grab my black leather jacket off the hook and head to my car. i pull out my phone and sent another text message to selena.
selena's pov
once again i hear my phone buzz. it's another text message from luke.
"hey i'm heading to the parking lot now. see you soon hot stuff."
"who is it?" mom says as i turn off my phone.
"nobody. just some boy from school." "do you want anything to eat sweetie?" mom says as she enters the kitchen. i follow her. "actually i'm not feeling too good i'm gonna head on upstairs."
"okay i hope you feel better. love you sweetie."
"love you too mom." i say as i start heading upstairs.
