I serve in the militia as a 3rd class rifleman, unaware of what is soon to happen, a high ranked pilot, Captain Tai Lastimosa, had been teaching me how to be efficient as a pilot, when I had ranked up that is, in the pilot gauntlet. He said I would make a good pilot one day and I would get assigned to my own titan, like him and his titan BT-7274. After the battle of Demeter the IMC had been quiet, since James McAllan sacrificed himself for the victory of the militia. Until now, we're getting sent to a new planet called typhon, heavy IMC territory, there will be heavy resistance from them as we look for their research base on the planet, this will give us major detail on their plans. During our session in the gauntlet, the system had glitched and crashed due to the IMC fleet starting their attack on the James Mcallan, the fight starts here. I exit Vr and see Lastimosa preparing BT for Titanfall, looks at me and says "heads up, they're killing us..well trying to anyway. Good session in there, you'll get the hang of it someday. We'll make a pilot out of you yet rifleman, but not today, no time" right after that Major Anderson walks by and gives the captain a quick greeting as he says "Lastimosa, you son of a bitch, see ya down there!"
And quickly leaves. Lastimosa embarks his titan, as he enters, he turns to me and quotes "we're gonna see a new planet today, maybe even die on it. See you down there rifleman. Good luck." I give him a thumbs up, take my rifle off one of the grunts running past and I head straight to the dropship for deployment.
