After I had been dropped down from the James Mcallan, the drop-pod I was in had plummeted down to typhons surface, explosions and gunshots flying past every second, eventually I reached the ground with a crash, felt dizzy for a few minutes and the pod door launched off, leaving me exposed to the hostile spectres approaching, as dizzy as I was, I stood up and opened fire. Eventually I managed to regroup with my squad.
"This is captain lastimosa, I've got a fix on your location. I'm on my way" and then lastimosa and his titan appear, clearing the area. But it takes a turn, he gives me a stim, all I remember before blacking out is 4 more titans appearing, a scorch, ronin, ion and Legion. They damage BT badly and I blackout.
A few minutes later, I wake up again
"We have 18 hours. 18 hours until the ark is sealed and ready for delivery" Kuben blisk, the leader of the apex predators exists his titan
"Oi richter, leave the corpses alone ya sick bastard, we got a job to do ey? We make corpses, we don't clean them up. Let's go." And then it blacks out again.

About 3 hours later I wake up again, this time being dragged by prowlers, they're fighting to see who would get me, but BT opens fire on them to help while he is down. I stand up and make my way over, as Lastimosa stumbles out of his titan, I go to assist him, he looks beaten up, very badly.

"BT...transfer authorisation to new pilot...link...bravo-tango seven two seven four..." he pauses for a second "cooper..take my titan, use my helmet and my jump-kit, this is the real thing...take care of him..." and just like that I witness his life fade away from him, Captain Tai Lastimosa is KIA.

I bury him under a pile of rocks and I put his pilot helmet on, the helmet switches on and the visor shows the view around me, showing a bunch of codes and blue lights, the ammo and ordnance to show the trail any grenades will go, I always wanted to be a pilot, but not like this..I notice I have a cloak device too, I activate it and I go invisible, well for a short duration of time that is.. the helmet then scans for power sources to charge up the titan, as its power is low, one is found somewhere on the ruins of the James Mcallan, so I head to retrieve it.

After retrieving the titan battery I return to BT with the charged battery, put it into the area the batteries go "Power at two-thirds. Data core re-initialised, ocular systems online. Adjusting focus...are you alright pilot?" I pause for a second as BT says this "I think so...Wait..did you just call me pilot?" I ask in a state of pure confusion, BT quickly responds with  "yes, the late Captain Lastimosa gave you the provisional rank of acting pilot. Congratulations on your promotion, you may call me BT" I pause for a minute trying to process all of this, it's happening all too quick for my liking, I soon respond, still with slight confusion, "BT...Got it". BT pauses for a while then says "my systems are rebooting. But a third battery will accelerate the process, I will remain here" I then scan the area for a third battery, finding one, so I head to retrieve it for the titan.

1 hour later after getting the battery

"Enemy reinforcements will be on their way, we must complete the neural link immediately, please install the final battery" As soon as I clear the area he's already rushing me about, great.
I install the battery to accelerate him powering up, he opens up the hatch to enter the hull, I embark my new titan. "Pilot, we must establish a neural link to proceed" yeah yeah I get it, as if you haven't said it already, he closes the hatch as I sit in the cockpit, "protocol 1: link to pilot....establishing neural link" green beams of light appear all around the cockpit, almost blinding "neural link established, rifleman Jack cooper, you are now confirmed as acting pilot of BT-7274"
"Protocol 2: uphold the mission, our orders are to resume special operation: 217, rendezvous with major Anderson of the SRS" We begin to make our way to the rendezvous point, clearing hostile titans on the way, I'm getting the hang of this titan controlling thing.
