Kougyoku POV

Once the royal ball began, I observed that many people came to participate and mingle in the event. An estimate of a thousand individuals, possibly more.

I couldn't handle being in such a crowd before as I recall the first few parties the Empire held. I've gotten used to it now, the formality, having to smile and entertain each person who greets you.

Somehow, this one felt different, and I'? not entirrly sure that it's for a good reason.

First of all I had to prepare to the best of my ability for this occasion. The stench of my overdosed perfume irritating me the most.

Second is I don't that much experience, what if Kouen introduces me to the people here? I don't know what will I do if that time comes. I have too much going on my mind as of the moment.

And the third is, what if I do something embarrassing in front of Sinbad?

Will he still talk to me? What if he thinks that I'm a loser if that happens? How will he know my feelings for him?

Waahhh I don't know what to do, I'm helpless at this point -- Ouf! Ouch I think something hit me.

"Oh sorry, did I hurt you?" I saw the yellow - haired boy, Alibaba rubbing his head.

"Alibaba-kun, I'm sorry too, I was deep in thought that I didn't even notice you're presence." I said as I bowed to him.

His face turned sour, probably of confusion Does he even know who I am?

"It's me Kougyoku. I know, it isn't easy to recognize me with this loom so don't even bother telling me." I pouted, rolling my eyes as I adjust my hairdo.

"Kougyoku-hime? It is you! I should've noticed sooner, gomen." Alibaba apologized recirocating the gesture of a bow.

"I told you not to address me formally anymore right?" I repeated, huffing while I squinted my eyes.

"Ah haha gomen, gomen" he laughed it offas waving his hands sideways.

Alibaba's a brave and wise gentleman. Although he's a little too kind when it comes to other people.

"Oh, um -- have you seen Sinbad yet?" he asked me making my eyes widen.

"King Sinbad???" I repeated after him as he nodded slowly. Gosh, I forgot to ask him about that.

"Where is he? How is he now? Did he mention anything about me or Kou Empire while he was here?" I bombarded him with questions and then I realized Alibaba wasn't looking at me anymore, but at my back.

I tilted my head slightly, focusing on Alibaba's expression, hoping to get a clue as to who was behind me.

" Well, well what do we have here ? My apologies for disturbing you two but ── Alibaba could you introduce me to this pretty woman?" I turned around after hearing the familiar voice.

My heart leaped once I saw Sinbad, naking my eyes sparkle.

Sinbad-sama... he never changed. But every time I see him, he becomes even more handsome and cute.

"Kou-gyo-ku?" my ears tingled when I heard him say my name.

He said my name! He said MY NAME!!! WAAAHHH ~~~~ !!!

"All princesses and princes, please get ready for the opening ceremony." I heard Kouen order.

No, I can't leave where I am now. Not when I finally have the chance to talk to Sinbad!

" Kougyoku we have to go. " one of my sisters grabbed my hand as my other sisters followed us.

B-but Sinbad-sama!!! Wait I have to talk to him. I tried to look over Sinbad but my sisters blocked the way and shook their head.
