Moving On

Niall POV~~~

"Hi, Im Niall", I shook Kat's roommates hand, hoping she wouldn't freak out. "Oh Hi!, I'm Carolina, Kat's best friend." She said while she took my hand in a calmly manner. I was relieved she didn't freak. "Well I guess I will leave you guys to it then" she said, as she walked back to her room. I turned back to face Kat, ready to get started. "C'mon Niall,

This way" Kat had said, motioning with her hand to follow her. We entered the living room, I noticed all the furniture had been pushed towards the wall, leaving us plenty of dance space.

Kat POV

"Right Turn!" I shouted, passing the music making sure Niall heard me. I walked over to him, grabbing onto his shoulder, stopping him from continuing. "Ok Niall, this time we are gonna try to do things a little bit slower". I place my hands on His, feeling his warmth. I moved with him, moving along to the rhythm of the music. He was doing great, but he tripped, causing him and I to fall. I landed on his chest, while I looked into the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. I started to blush, feeling the warmth rushing to my cheeks. I tried to get up quickly, trying not to make it awkward. "I'm sorry, are u okay?" Niall asked with a concerned look in his eyes. "Y-yeah, I'm fine thanks" I stuttered. "Well then, let's get back to work huh? I told Niall as he nodded in agreement.

After hours of practicing, we had gotten most of the routine done. Me and Niall were panting on the couch, tired from all the dancing. I started to go towards the kitchen, getting a glass of water. "Niall, would you like some water?" I asked, as he panted an answer, guessing it was a yes. I handed him his cup of water, watching him as he inhaled almost all of the water in the cup. "You must have been really thirsty, huh?" I asked as he nodded. "Kat, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me with this routine", he said. "No Problem, it wasn't a big deal" I answered. " As a token of my appreciation, I wanted to ask you if you would mind if I took you out to dinner tomorrow, as a thank you gift?" he asked. I stared at him with wide eyes. I gave him a nod, as I smiled. " Ok then well, I will pick you up tomorrow at 6 or 7ish?", "Ok, cool". " Ok well then I will see you tomorrow, bye then" he said as he walked out the door.
