A STRIKE of light coming from the vastidity illumination of the sun, hit my face that makes my soul awaken. An exquisite and different alarm clock for me. Not too hot, but it brings a bizzare feeling. When I open my eyes, a quite dark greet me.
The dawning light is nearly coming, therefore I get up on my bed to see the peculiar scene. Staring at my window pane, wind touched my barely face. Hearing the birds sings like a choir, and watching how the sun, rise on it's own way through the sky. It's just a sign for me for a new day, a new day to survive.
"Sage, gising ka na ba? Just a reminder lang ah, may pasok ka today!"my best friend Kirsten shouted that makes me to stop staring outside.
Oh here we go again.
"Maliligo na!" I shouted back to her so she can hear me too. I quickly get my laptop and put my other things on my bag. I quickly entered the cr, and opened the shower. While in the cr, I can't stop myself for smiling. I'm so excited! I'm dancing like a crazy person. Unfortunately, my moment was tom.
"Oh, oh... What's the matter little Sage?" my best friend asked while taking a peek at the door.
"Little? See yourself first in the mirror, Kirsten and check your height too." I said to her. "And try to knock, you're starting again to ruin my day." I added. She make a poker face and I laugh to her. Her mouth just hang wide open but she just close it eventually and walk away infront of me.
"For your information, my height is 5'8 not like yours a 5'1," sigaw ko bago sinara ang pintuan.
After a long minutes, I'm good to go. I checked myself in the mirror if there strange look of me, but luckily I'm still good and beautiful than ever. I'm wearing a black pencil skirt and a white tube top. covered by a black coat. Wearing also a Yves Saint Laurent black pumps that makes me taller a bit. And for my face, I don't usually wear a overly make up. Just a powder for me is enough and a Kylie Jenner's Crystal High Gloss to light up my lips.
"Ano ba yan Sage? Sawa na ang salamin sayo araw-araw," my best friend interrupted me for my moment.
"Tse, inggit ka lang sa ganda ko," I replied to her with a mocking smile.
"Duh? Pake ko sa ganda mo, at least ako may boyfriend, how about you? You're already 28 but never had yours." she said with mocking smile also.
I can't utter a word for her statement that she said, because she is definitely right. Most people saying that I should find a man who can marry me, but I don't want to! I want to enjoy my life while I'm not still tied to someone. When people asking me, "Sage dapat magpakasal ka na," but I always my replied to them, "Yes, I know! I'm already 28 years old but my mind is not still focus on committing a relationship. Maybe God have a good plan for me, I'm just waiting for it." But they can't trust
reason because they think I'm just bluffing!
"Little Sage, uso naman galawin ang baso," she laughed at me. "Shh... stop saying nonsense words, Kirsten," sabi ko sa kanya. "I'm going now," I said with a serious voice. "Okay, take care
she said and still laughing. When I arrived at the university, every students I encountered, their smile can't hide.
Ah what a good day...
"Good moming. Professor!" my students greet me with a smile, therefore I give them also my sweetest smile.
"As part of our lesson and also as a recall, can anyone give me a theory and model that concerned in astronomy?" I asked. The room was filled of sound of crickets, I want to laugh because it's kinda feel awkward. I don't know why but I just tried to maintain my serious face even I want to burst a laugh.
