Sa pagmulat ng aking mga mata, ibang lugar ang bumungad sa akin at nagtataka kung bakit sa harap ng aking mukha ay may salamin.
"Nasaan ako?" tanong ko sa aking sarili na puno ng pagtataka.

While lying on nowhere, I tried to get up with my whole strength even it feels so heavy. Nang ako'y makatayo na, bumilis bigla ang tibok ng puso ko. Ang mala-kahel at kayumanggi na kulay ang bumabalot sa mga bato. The sand is same as the color of desert. Wala ring puno o halaman ang makikita. Nasaan ako? Hindi ko mapigilan ang aking sarili na mapaisip dahil ang aking inaapakan ay siguradong hindi ang mundo na kinagisnan ko. To fill again the jar of my shockness, I'm wearing a space suit! Where the hell I got this?
For sure I'm not on Earth, maybe I am on Mars! I remember Mars is dry, dust, rocky, bitter cold and desert world. And that how it looks what I seen and where I stand. I can't believe this!
I remember I was just crying and my eyes became blurry, and for one snap I am on Mars?! Maybe this is just a dream? And kapag hindi? What I'm gonna do? I don't know how to survive here! God, please help me. I know I studied astronomy but living in other planet? I've never dream of that, Earth is enough for me, I can't stop myself for crying. Is this my end? I want to wipe my tears with my both hands but I can't, 'cause of the space suit I'm wearing!
LIKE TO those movies I watched, I tried to walk around, hoping to find a astronaut or any hab (short for Mars Lander Habitat) that I can sleep for a while, take off this space suit, and try to connect to ask help from the Earth. But I know to myself that it's very possible to happen. I walked already for two hours but nothing still happened. Hope is vanishing on myself. What if there are no astronauts here to execute their mission? Will my parents and Kirsten find out that I'm missing? Too tired in walking, I decided to rest for a while.
Sa hindi inaasahan, malayo sa aking kinauupuan nakakita ako ng mga tao na naglalakad patungo sa akin at isang sasakyan? Maybe that is the Mars Surface Rover. The hope in my heart flamed again. The hope that anyone can help me, maybe I can finally possess it right now. Hindi ko mapigilang ngumiti at lumuha. Walang sinayang na oras, tumakbo na ako papunta sa kanila.
"Hey, help me!" I yelled while running even I know they can't totally hear me. I run so fast as I can to reach out them. Malapit na ako, ilang metro na lang at makakahingi na ako ng tulong. Ngunit sa hindi inaasahan pangyayari, ako ay nadapa. Ang salamin na na bumabalot sa aking mukha ay nabasag dahil tumama ito sa malaking bato. I can't breathe properly. Ang hangin na dapat sa akin lamang ay hinihigop. It feels like I am suffocated. Before my eyes become blurry, I saw a man with his eyes that full of abruptness.
"Are you okay?" a lady voice said. With a blurry sight I intend to stand up but a both hands tried to stop me.
"Don't force your self, take a rest first," a cold voice of man that makes me shiver. I tried to trace where the voice came from and I succeeded. Wearing his own black shirt and gray pajama, it is evident from it his massive appearance. When I caught his eyes watching me, his eyes are full of darkness and intense. His lips is perfectly carved, kinda luscious.

"What happened to you?" mahinhing tanong sa aking ng isang babae. I just realized, there are six persons here watching me! With their physical appearance and accent, I know they are not Filipinos.
"Ahm... Can't easy to believe but it seem like magical. I don't know how I went here in Mars, but I'm thinking it's just a dream," I said. But I never got an answer from them they are just looking at me. intently. "By the way, thanks for helping me. I thought I will die out there..." I added with a shy voice.
