It's a Bad Time

"On your right! Two O'clock!" CC- 4818 yelled across the battlefield. The battles on Felucia were always violent, ones full of bloodshed and death. CC-4818 has been in many battles during the war, though the battles on Felucia, and Geonosis, outrank them all. "Incoming fire from the right! Watch your head, Scorn!" CC-4818 lifted his blaster towards the threat, emptying the rest of his clip. A slight twinge came from his right shoulder from the strength of the recoil, though he ignored it and moved on. He ducked back behind some fauna, already hiding another trooper, for cover. While reloading, CC-4818's comm lit up as his Jedi General contacted him. Hopefully she has some useful information. The sooner the battle was over, the better.

"Commander Corvus! The Tactical Droid has been spotted by the left flank!"

"Copy General!" Commander Corvus cut the connection, taking a minute to finish reloading, and moved out. "Cover me!" He called to the trooper, Phase, next to him. He ran across the battlefield, dodging to the best of his abilities, shooting as he ran. Men, his brothers, were falling all around him. Despite wanting to stop, he couldn't, as finding and removing the Tactical Droid would save more of them than he could if he stopped now. So he ran as fast as he could to the left flank, taking out as many droids as possible and dodging fauna alike. The planet was beautiful, full of naturally vibrant colors and interesting life. The fauna was huge, with massive pitcher plants and fungi spread around thick jungles, all throughout the planet. It was humid and full of life of all varieties, like Jungle Rancors and the native Felucians. Maybe under better circumstances, Corvus could've actually enjoyed the planet and everything it has to offer, but it was unlikely after this campaign. He doubted he would return here willingly, though that usually goes for anywhere he's had a campaign.

A blaster bolt flew by his head at lightning speed, buzzing with particle energy. He barely dodged out of the way, cursing under his breath at the same moment. It hit some fauna behind him, causing the plant to burn up where the bolt landed, and leaving a charcoal colored burn once it cooled. He jumped behind cover, seeing a familiar face, sharing the space with a few other troopers.

"Welcome to the party, Commander!" Jedi Padawan and Commander, Sairel Velos, huffed, out of breath. His brown hair was matted and he was covered in dirt all over, but smiling at the arrival of his longtime friend.

"Sorry that I'm late, had to get a gift." Corvus shrugged, pulling out a droid popper and tossing it over his shoulder; the round EMP grenade exploded somewhere in the mess of droids on the other side of his cover. He looked over the cover at the advancing enemy and what he saw was not good for morale. There were a whole lot of droids... and multiple tanks.  Luckily, there was only one Tactical Droid.     This time.     Without the droid, the enemy's chain of command would crumble apart, giving the Republic the advantage they needed. The droid was standing on top of a tank, looking out over the battle, protected by B2 Battle Droids standing directly next to it, keeping the Tact droid in the middle of a small square. They needed someone that could hit it from here, or they needed to charge it with everything they had, and that might not be enough to even reach it. One of the two options were more preferable, though he didn't know where the best sharpshooter in the 54th battalion was. Corvus ducked back behind the cover and commed the trooper, "Thirteen! Where are you? I wanna put your skills to the test!" He joked, hoping the sharpshooter wasn't too far.

"On the ridge to your left."  Thirteen was lying flat against the ground near some colorful brush to keep himself hidden. The ridge was a good, twenty-eight-ish meters high, giving Thirteen a much-needed advantage over the droids. He was far enough back to not fall over the edge, but close enough he could get a clear shot over most of the battlefield. He was aiming towards the company of droids, his scope reflecting slightly in the sun as he swept the barrel over the CIS Army. "I'm guessing you found the droid?"
