Celine knew so damned well that an explosion would go off in her house by her brother if she told him about her liking towards his best friend.
But the main thing that paranoid her was her parents. She had texted both her parents but got a curt reply, and she felt like her stomach was sinking.
It'd probably be overthinking but still, she was taking everything about herself, negatively. She knew, everyone loved her but, for some reason, she felt like she'd disappoint everyone, especially her brother, Jay.
She soon snapped out of her daze as Jake shook her slightly, who was sitting beside her.
“You're spacing out” Jake said as she looked around the table. They were current at the dinner table, having their dinner. Heeseung was there too.
“I am?” She shrugged, looking down at her plate.
“Are you worried about that exhibition?” Jay asked as Celine turned blank.
“Exhibition? Which exhibition?” She asked, thinking hard.
“The one which is next week?” Jay looked at her as she nodded, realization struck her.
“Yes, yes. Right” She sighed and looked at her plate and stood up. “I've done eating. I'll go to my room” She gave them one of her gummy smiles as she walked to her room.
“She's disturbed” Jake said, looking at her plate. “And she ate nothing” He completed.
“Did she have a break-up, period, or fight with you? A while ago, she was completely fine?” Sunghoon looked at Jay, who frowned.
“She wasn't dating anyone” Jay sated.
“How are you so sure?” Jake asked as Heeseung looked at the stairs.
Did it have to do something with him?
