Summary:
~Celeste Vogelbaum is a freshman at Godolkin University, a prestigious college for supes. Celeste is unaware of her grandfather's dark past and his involvement in the Vought conspiracy. She only knows him as a kind and gentle old man who loves her dearly. ~

~Sam Riordan is a test subject of the Woods, a secret facility where Vought experiments on supes. He has super-strength and durability, but also suffers from schizophrenia and hallucinations. He sees other people as puppets, which makes him violent and unpredictable. He is also the brother of Golden Boy, a former Godolkin student who died under mysterious circumstances. Sam escapes from the Woods and runs into Celeste, who is the only person he sees as human. ~
