Tournament of strength

Suki enters shokaku unaware of the kingdom size suki walks around fascinated with the scenery. There where building higher than the trees in the forest, vast amounts of people walking around, markets to buy food, a paradise in which Suki has never experience.

Suki astonished by shokaku kingdom explores around the kingdom trying various different foods, "wow!" Suki screams with excitement as he tries a dish he has never seen before.

"Excuse me what kind of dish is this sir" Suki ask the man with his mouth full of the dish.

"It's sweet bread, homemade with fruits" the man replies as he smiles at Suki "it's incredible I've never ate anything like it before" Suki says with his mouthful of sweat bread.

"You must be new" the man ask "it's my first time in shokaku" Suki replies "usually your suppose to pay but this one can be on the house" he says to Suki "I'm sorry I didn't know I promise to pay you back someday in gratitude" Suki replies as he bows down his head.

Suki begins to remember his reason for going to shokaku, so distracted with the kingdoms scenery he has to reminds himself about the tournament "I'm sorry to bother you so much sir but do you know where the tournament is being placed" he asked the man.

"If your talking about the tournament for Shokaku Academy just head this way" the man points behind him to the right in a alley, "thank you" Suki replies to the man, Suki begins to proceed the way the man pointed with no hesitation, as Suki walks through the alley he sees Hogome from a distance, Hogome looks to his left side and sees Suki.

"Suki over here" Hogome screams from the top of his lungs "im coming" Suki mutters with a faint smile on his face.

"Sign your name here to enter" Hogome tells Suki, as Suki walks to sign his name a man in front of the sign in sheet looks at Suki with fear as he sees Suki body covered with a fearsome aura, one that resembles a demon "this boy wha-what is he I sense no magical prowess but h-his body gives off this evil aura as if he was a demon, no far worse then that it's like he's, he's the devil himself" the man thought to himself.

"Thank you" Suki politely says to the man, Suki then walks with Hogome to be seated in the arena as they both wait for there names to be called to fight there opponents.

"Suki that man looked at you totally scared" Hogome laughs as he tells him "what did I do?" Suki ask hogome in confusion "it's probably because you have on barely any clothes" Hogome continues to laugh.

"For your information I have on just the right amount of clothes" suki replies as he looks away annoyed in a comedic way "for starters you don't have a shirt or any shoes" Hogome replies.

"Do you want me to rip your head off" sukis says as he turns his head to Hogome with a very serious face but with a comedic view, hogome giggles at suki.

"Suki I wanted to ask you something but you seemed a bit upset" he tells Suki, with a brief pause Suki looks at hogome "Why do you hate warriors so much" Hogome ask.

Suki looks away with disappointment "warriors always treated my family like scum we were no different then dirt to them, people outside of the kingdom were just pawns they used for there own duties, my father lived a normal happy life, we would go hunting and he would teach me how to catch animals for dinner, one day a warrior past by and took my father, I was young so I couldn't help, my father screaming at me telling me to go inside but as children we don't listen so I followed them to where they took my father I can hear my father screaming demanding the warrior to release him and that he has a family to take care of, but they wouldn't listen" Suki voice intensify "instead they left him there I ran to my father and tried to save him but I was useless" Suki Gripping his pants with disappointment as his voice becomes softer "the beast was already coming, my father screaming at me telling me I should have stayed home like he said and that I should leave while I can, as a kid were taught to listen to our parents so I ran back home all I can hear is my dad screaming in pain as the monster begin to feast on him and the warriors coming to kill the beast".

Hogome with disappointment on his face as he never thought warriors would do such things, he then stands up and gets on one knee and screams to suki "I promise for as long I live I will never let what happen to your father happen again" Suki surprised, as he never seen anyone take a knee before him "my apologies suki" Hogome tells suki.

"No need to get on your knees and apologize, besides it's not your fault for what happened so no need for that" Suki replies.

"For the first battle in the tournament of strength, the contestants will be Suki Kamado and Rien Suzuki" the announcer says.

"I'm first!" Suki jumps up as nervous as ever with this fight being Suki first actual battle.

"Goodluck don't get beat up out there" Hogome giggles.

"Be quiet blondie I won't lose" Suki says to hogome as he begins to walk to the open arena battle field.

Suki walks on to the battle field, in front of him was Rien, "this guys huge" Suki thought to himself.

"The rules are simple you can use your elemental abilities but we forbid a fight to the death is that clear" the announcer states.

"Yes" Both Suki and Rien reply.

"You may begin your battle" the announcer replies.

"You may quit while you can, I sense nothing from you, if I were you I would take it the easy way out" Rien tells suki trying to show sympathy.

"I don't need your sympathy so just cut" Suki replies.

"As you wish" Rien replies.

Rien pulls out a sword handle empty of a blade, he then stomps the ground shattering the rocks, with the shattered pieces of rock he uses his element to form a blade of stone on the handle creating a great sword that only Rien himself can wield, the blade about as big as Suki himself was formed.

"Now" with a brief pause "shall we begin?" Rien ask suki.

My story has been starting off a bit slow and it's really because I want you guys to have a connection towards the main characters Suki and Hogome and have a full understanding of these characters as things will escalate quickly Sorry if you guys don't enjoy the music on top it's just music that helps me write my story and helps me brainstorm I hope you enjoyed the chapter as many more will come I plan to make this at minimum 150 chapters just for a warning in late chapters around 10 or 15 it will become a bit more gory if anyone came from the tags this is a seinen so my inspiration comes a lot from berserk, jujutsu kaisen, and I also have a bit of black clover inspiration so you have been warned 😭 although black clover and jujutsu kaisen is a Shonen but I have inspiration from both and also don't be shy to comment I reply to all and any comment so feel free to comment anything
