Rui was strong. He had known that. After all, he was part of the 12 Kizuki. The strongest demons. Even so, how had his puny human with Hanafuda earrings almost beheaded him? Rui knew he was obviously stronger. So how? 

It was alright though. He had it covered. He had cut off his own head before the human had. As the boy with Hanafuda earrings and his sister collapses to the ground, Rui reattaches his head to his body. They had shared such a great sibling bond, so it was a shame that they couldn't fulfill their roles. 

"Blood Demon Art: Muderous Eye Basket." 

A sphere of red threads surrounded the red head. Rui thought it was over for them. He thought he would defeat them, but his thoughts proved to be wrong when a raven-haired hashira interfered. He leaped over the siblings, cutting up the crimson threads as they dispatched. The emo hashira turned to the boy with Hanafuda earrings and said something to them, but Rui couldn't hear it. (𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝..) 

The hashira turned back to the spider demon. Rui thought he could finish him off quickly. He used his strongest attack. 

"Blood Demon Art: Cutting Thread Rotation."

The red threads formed and shot themselves at the unfazed hashira. 

"Total Concentration: Water breathing, eleventh form, Dead Calm."

Rui was puzzled. The moment the threads got to the hashira, they scattered. 

"No... No, this can't be right.. I'll try again.." Rui mutters, holding out his arms, creating more threads. He could see the hashira walking towards him. He blinked. He just blinked, and the hashira was less than a centimeter away from beheading Rui. But that's not what happened. As soon as the hashira's blade connected with Rui's neck, he disappeared. Right into thin air.

𝚁𝚞𝚒 𝙿𝙾𝚅

It was frightening. I was almost killed by humans. Puny, little, humans. I would've died right then and there if it wasn't for this strange place. It seemed harmless, but I didn't let my guard down. It was dark. I felt as if I was floating. I was just in a dark, dark void. 

'What.. Where am I..?' I thought. This strange void had a welcoming aura. It was comforting, but I knew it might have been a trick. I try to attack something. Anything. But there was nothing. Just me and this dark, comforting place.

I didn't want to. But my eyes were shutting, and darkness was pulling me in.
