I continued:, "my girlfriend told me she was going to visit an ex-boyfriend.

It was uncomfortable for me, so I let her know. She was very jealous, and something like this would not fly if the roles were reversed. As expected, an argument ensued.

We would talk our arguments through within an hour or so without yelling. We talked through this one, and she told me they were friends way longer than they were boyfriend and girlfriend. I encouraged her to visit him the next day but asked her to spend the evening with me. A family member had passed recently, and I was feeling needy.

She visited him the next night and was out past midnight. It ate me up. We were usually in bed by 10:30.

The next morning, she told me she needed space and that we had gotten too attached to each other. She said she was going to visit a friend's house so I could pack all my things.

“I was dating this girl in high school and he dyed his hair in this weird cheetah print. Something about that dye job changed him. Not over time, instantly. SHe went from being a normal girl to ‘I am too alternative for words’. At lunch one day, She took my hand and said I needed to accept him for the new person she was, which I guess was a cheetah or something, so I told her I had to set her free. It was a super strange day.”

“One time my ex (then girlfriend) called me in the middle of a workday and [she was] super angry. I asked her what was wrong, but she just wouldn’t stop screaming at me. After a while, she calmed down and told me she was breaking up with me because I called her last night and told her I was cheating.

This was strange because 1) I did not call her, and 2) also was not cheating. She wouldn’t believe me and told everyone around. After a week she comes back to me and apologises. Turns out she’s had a very realistic dream. I did not get back with her. ”
