It's My Time

The Begging of Us.

After the match, I got tons of compliments. Many people calling it the match of the year. It was an amazing match. Nonetheless, all respect between me and Charlotte had blown out the window. As I sat on the crate in the back of Full Sail, the memory of Dean shoving me into the barricade kept replaying in my mind. And then of course, the memory of Roman spearing the hell out of him. As I sit there, I smile. Someone sits next to me.
"So, doll face, how did it feel to finally get some payback?" I look over at me to see a giddy Roman Reigns smirking at me.
"It felt great, especially when you speared my brother." He laughs and kisses my cheek. He says in a southern accent,
"It ain't no thing pretty lady." I smile and look down at my title. Then, I set it in my lap and trace the letters with my index finger. Roman looks interested, and he watches every little stroke my finger makes. Without thinking, I rest my head on his shoulder. He puts his arm around me and kisses the top of my head. I smile and just sit there. I reach up and grab his hand and I can see him blushing. I open up the clasps on my championship, and lay it out so it spans over my legs and his.
"I'm so proud of my little hellfire." I smile and look up at him. "Hellfire.. I like it." He looks down at me with gentle eyes. "Just like I like you." I smiled, and grabbed his hand. Roman just kind of sat baffled. I smiled, and looked at the floor. Suddenly, a hand touched my chin and pulled me forward into a kiss. Instantly I put my hand on the back of his neck and kissed back. He pulled back, and I looked into his eyes.
    "Maddie Ambrose, your the craziest woman I've ever met." I look down at the floor baffled.
"And yet I wouldn't have it any other way." I smile, and he takes me under his arm. "Let's go champ." We walk off with me receiving congratulations from everyone we pass. I feel this was the beginning of a few things. 1. My dominant reign as champion, 2. Me falling in love with Leati Joseph Anaoi. Also known as Roman Reigns.
