3rd Pov

Evangeline was confused, scared, and silently crying. It was dark out with the Moonlight shining through the windows of her room. She had been having weird dreams recently, but this one... this one seemed more like a nightmare. Her family was dead, her dad and twin were insane, and she never existed.

It was... terrifying. She rubbed her tears as she looked around the room. She could see everything from her top bunk, and it was... Normal. No scary animations, Nightmares, the ones she was thinking about were called the Nightmares. Did Chris have them yet? Did he have to fight off Nightmares every single night yet? Only the room she shared with her twin sister, Elizabeth. Elizabeth, she was killed by Circus Baby and ended up killing their oldest brother. Didn't she? No, that was a different animatronic. Ennard, was it?

Evangeline frowned and shook her head with tears in her eyes. It was just a nightmare, right? It wasn't real... Evangeline carefully climbed off her bunk and got down to the ground. Her father always told her that if she wanted to get down then she needed someone there to help her, she was small and easily able to get hurt if she fell down, but she never really listened to the rule.

Once her feet hit the cold wooden floor, she headed to the bedroom door, opening it. Looking out the hallway, she spotted her brother's room doors, the bathroom door, and her parents' bedroom door. She saw flashes of terrifying animatronics, of her dead family. It was her fault, after all she wasn't there so they didn't have anyone to stop their death.

Evangeline stood in the doorway, hesitant. She didn't wanna be alone, but she didn't know who to go to. She didn't wanna wake Elizabeth up, she wouldn't understand. Plus she probably stayed up really late waiting for their father. Chris was also a no-go.  Sweet, tiny Chris. Was he already being tormented? Was he up, scared of the animatronics that hunted him at night? Since Chris was only 1, she cut him out of the options.

That left Micheal, he was only 6, almost 7 years old. However he was their older brother and Evangeline has always followed him around since she was small. Was he bullying their baby brother yet? She didn't think so. Or her parents. Was her father insane yet? Was he hiding it from them? What about her mom? Was there something going on with her that she didn't know about?

Evangeline, after some consideration, went to Micheals room. Mikey would know what to do. He always did, he was her big brother and promised to always be there for her, no matter what. Evangeline carefully made her way to Mikey's room, and peered inside. It was how she remembered it,  she would never admit it, but she felt an uncomfortable amount of relief.

Making sure to not step on the creaky floorboards she made her way to his bed. When she got to the bed, she climbed up onto it and looked down at her brother. Her brother who would bully their baby brother. Her big brother who would die, scooped by some unfinished animatronic. She didn't want that, she didn't want her family to die, and especially not her big brother, who was her most favorite person ever.

Evangeline shook her head again before shaking the 6 year old up, "Mikey...?" Now, let it be said that Michael was a light sleeper. Ever since he was a babe he would wake up to the slightest of sounds. So when Evangeline had opened his door he had immediately woken up. He had assumed it was his parents checking in on him, but hearing Evangeline's voice made him realize he was wrong and caused him to sit up.

Michael was only 6, but he knew Evangeline was different. It wasn't just because of the adults always commenting about her intelligence ince the day she turned 1. No, Micheal saw how Eva would avoid mirrors. How she would listen to conversations, process the information, and then make decisions. He had even seen where she had stopped a fight between their parents with a couple of sentences.

There was other things as well, like how Evangeline never really cried. After she had learned to talk, her crying had seemed to evaporate. He knew it wasn't normal, but she was his sister, so he didn't care. He would protect her regardless. That said... "Eva...?" When he saw his sister look at him like she had been crying, Michael knew something was wrong.

Eva simply climbed in beside Michael and hugged her older brother. Michael was worried. He was only 6, but he knew Evangeline best, and this was worring. "Evangeline... talk to me..." The two siblings were in silence for a while, Evangeline hugging her brother, who gently hugged her back, trying to get her to talk.

Evangeline wasn't speaking, just hugging her big brother. What could she say? That she wasn't supposed to exist? They everyone will die? That Dad and Eli would go insane? It was just a scary dream, so why did she feel like it was so real? Evangeline frowned to herself as Micheal also frowned when Evangeline didn't say anything. The silence was defening, but neither sibling spoke up.

Finally, Evangeline managed to speak up, "Nightmare... really bad one..." Micheal frowned, hugging Evangeline closer to himself. Eva didn't really have nightmares, so this was new. Chris had Nightmares alot, and even Elizabeth. However Evangeline seemed to have been the only one who didn't...

Micheal hugged Evangeline and got her to lay down with him. "Don't worry, Big brother will protect you", Micheal smiled at Evangeline and pulled the blanket over them before falling asleep, leaving Evanline to her thoughts alone. Evangeline looked at her older brother, she didn't think he'd be able to protect her... not this time. With one last glance to her brother, Evangeline Kani Afton fell asleep, uncertain of her new life.
