Freen POV
Me and Kirk was having the conversation when host of the party called Becky and Nop on the stage and requested for everyone's attention. Me and Kirk left the bar counter and stood near the stage.
"I would request the male lead of the series Nop to say few words about the success of the series." Host said and handed the mic to Nop and move to the right side of the stage. Nop took the center of the stage. I was looking at Becky who was standing on the left side of the stage, 5 steps away from Nop.
"Thank you for coming today to celebrate the amazing success of our series. I would like to thank the cast and crew for giving this project their all and making it a reality. We have received an incredible amount of love and support from our wonderful fans. We are all responsible for this success, and I feel privileged and humbled to have contributed to it. Thank you so much." Nop said and handed the mic back to Host and stood near Becky on the left side of the stage.
"Now I would like to invite Rebecca to share few words." Becky took the mic from host and stood in the center of the stage.
"This evening marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the amazing journey we've taken together. It has been a labor of love to create this series, and I am incredibly appreciative of our fans' steadfast support. Thank you, Saint, for believing in me and casting me for this role. I would also like to thank my amazing co-actors, my hardworking crew, and our creative visionaries for believing in our story. Your dedication and passion allowed us to succeed. Each character, scenario, and emotion portrayed on film was the result of a team effort." As Becky was giving her speech, I looked at the chandelier above her which was about to fall. I could not think about anything, and I started to run towards the stage and just before the chandelier fall, I dived towards Becky. Both of us fell on the floor and a loud noise of chandelier fall came.
I was on top of her, and I looked into her eyes and asked her if she was fine. She nodded her head, and I took a relieved breath. I stood up and gave my hand to Becky to help her stand. When she was on her feet, I asked her again "Are you hurt anywhere." And looked at her everywhere to make sure that she is not hurt anywhere.
"I am fine Freen. Are you fine?" she asked
"I am ok" I said
Everyone surrounded us and asked if we were ok. After assuring them, Becky left the stage with Saint, Nop and Yuki leaving Kirk and me behind. We were about to leave the stage when I looked at the rope of the chandelier which seemed to be cut deliberately.
"Kirk, look it seemed someone deliberately cut the rope." I said to Kirk
"You are overthinking, who will cut the rope deliberately." He said
'Maybe Kirk is right I am just overthinking' I thought. With this thought in mind, we both walked towards Becky.
When we reached them, Saint said, "Freen, you are bleeding" It's when I saw that there was a cut on my right arm just between wrist and elbow. I just took out a handkerchief from the pocket wrapped around the wound.
"I am fine, It's just a small cut." I said
"No Freen, Its not fine. Let me get a medical kit for you." Saint said with concerned in his eyes and asked a waiter to bring the First Aid kit. I could see everyone's concerned eyes towards me.
"I am totally fine guys. There is nothing to worry." I assured them.
"I think we should end the party now. Becky and Freen needs rest." Saint said
"You are right Saint. It's the best option and anyways party was about to end." Nop said.
"Right." Saint said and continued, "Me and Nop will go and attend other guests. You both can leave after Freen dressing is done." After saying this Saint Nop and Kirk left.
"I will go with them." Yuki said and left after saying bye.
Waiter approached us with First Aid kit and handed it to me. I opened the box and took out the antiseptic bottle. I removed the handkerchief from the arm and started applying the antiseptic with the help of cotton. As I was applying the antiseptic, I felt a burning sensation which was making it difficult for me to do it.
"Give it to me." Becky said seeing me struggling. I gave the cotton to her. She started applying the antiseptic and was blowing simultaneously. This made me forget the burning sensation instead I started feeling butterflies in the stomach.
She looked so adorable while applying antiseptic on my wound. I just kept looking at her. I did not realize that she is finished applying the cream and bandage until she said 'Done'.
"Thank you, Becky" I said and called the waiter and handed the first aid kit to him.
"Shall we go?" I asked her and she nodded her head. We started walking towards parking lot.
When we reached our car, I opened the back door for her. Instead of getting in the back of car she went to the driver's seat and opened the door.
"I will drive you home." She said and sat in the driver seat.
At first, I was confused that why is she saying that and then I realized that she is saying that because of the scratch on my arm. "I am fine Becky. I can drive the car, it's just a small cut. It does not hurt."
"You can drive when you are completely healed." She said
I sat in the passenger seat and gave her my address.
She dropped me at my house and left.
