The merchant kneeling down with his hands tied at his back begged for his life before Lily. "I'm sorry for whatever I have done please spare my life" he pleaded. Lily glared at him. She could not contain her anger. "You're sorry ? What are you sorry for ? You've done so many disgusting acts and you have the nerve to ask for forgiveness ?" she shouted.

The merchant cried out " I am really sorry. I really am. Let me live please."

"Sadly that's not your fate." a man answered coming from behind the merchant. Marcus froze for a moment and Lily was surprised but she didn't let her face display the expression. She averted her gaze from the merchant to the approaching figure.

The man wore a navy blue suit paired with black pointed shoes and brown eye shades. He approached Marcus with one hand in his pocket and the moved his other hand towards his eye shades taking it off and wriggling his eyebrows at Marcus saying ,"So long brother !"

"What have you come for now ?" Marcus asked the other man with visible annoyance.

"Ofcourse I came for her" the man replied seductively smirking at Lily.

"Should I just kill him ?" Marcus asked Lily pointing his pistol at the blue suit man.

"He's your brother" Lily replied with a straight face.

"I don't want a brother who is so characterless, who disgusts a girl just by looking at her. Excuse us for moment boss, I'll talk some sense into him" Marcus said and dragged his brother away from the merchant,Lily and the other black suited men around them.

Lily stared back at the merchant who seemed to be getting weary after all the begging. "Are you tired ?" Lily asked. The merchant didn't answer. "Are you so tired that you can't answer my question ?" Lily shouted.

The merchant started shivering and apologizing again. Lily scoffed and bent down to his eye level " You wanna know why? Why you're here ? Why you're about to die ? Yes ?"she asked.

The merchant let out a shaky breath and nodded.

"Words" Lily said sternly.

"Yes" the merchant blurted out.

"So you sell stuff for earning a living. You say you sell quality products. So what should I do if you sold me something saying it is a perfect piece and that it can never harm me...." She paused and the merchant looked at her with so much fear in his eyes. "Yeah ... " she continued "so heeding your words and putting my trust in you I gift that something to someone and that person ends up dead after using that something. So now I will be accused for attempting murder, I will be thrown in jail, my public image that I so hardly worked upon spending endless numbers of sleepless nights will be gone down the drain and then what ? What do you expect me to do ?" She glared at him .

The merchant trembled in fear, "I am sorry ... I am sorry .. but I didn't sell you anything...." He cried.

Lily sighed. "You didn't sell it to me but you exactly know whom you sold that set of Indian exotic earthenware to. You do. Don't you ?" She questioned.

The merchant nodded and his pleading eyes left Lily's face and dropped down to the ground. Marcus came back towards Lily "He definitely requires a lesson" he said and glanced at the merchant "What's he saying ?" he asked.

"He has nothing to say. He knows what he did,who he plotted against and how he got caught" Lily said.

"What now ?" Marcus asked.

"What else ?" She asked back.

"Who are you ?" The merchant asked looking at Lily.

"The Devil" Marcus said.

Lily gestured to Marcus and both of them stepped out from the dark space leaving the merchant with the other guards who were around for him to be killed.
